Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

On a positive note: Hillary Clinton is still not the President of the United States.
.
.
yes that is true but what is scary is the take down by the gop-e and their friends on the left of a conservative candidate.
This is a signal to these corrupt pigs to keep on doing this tactic.
Thank goodness for Trump who seems to have enough smarts and style to let this crap bounce off of him.
No Moore lost because he believed sodomy should be illegal. Moore’s views on homosexuality are what made him intolerable to the left, and half the right. It was those views that caused the fake accusations to be leveled.
Are there any absentee ballots yet to be counted?
Yeah.
Looked pretty good for a while.
.5 percent for a runoff. You’re off by a decimal point.
Think about it.
What reason do the dems have not to commit as much fraud as they can get away with?
With no moral restraint, there’s nothing stopping them.
True.
This is a very sad loss, but I agree Moore was an odd individual in a number of ways.
Neither candidate got 50%+1. There have been 18,727 write in votes. As I understand it, Jones would therefore have to beat Moore by 18,728 to have 50%+1.
So what? Al Franken has to resign now. Hs plan wass for Moore to win and then stay since Moore gets to stay.
They need to listen to a winner - Trump.
Trump called it in the primary with backing Flake. Too many didn’t want to listen.
Trump needs to fire Sessions... asap...
+1
And now they get something far worse.
You are correct...any R could have won this race. Moore was not a good candidate.
Trump is going to distance himself from Moore faster than you can say, “Jack Robinson”.
Yes, but sometimes we get the leaders we deserve. The god-less left is out of control. We do what we can but overall, when these Americans allow themselves to be deceived by so many places of corrupt influence by the left, well then, maybe we do get the leaders we deserve.
CGato
Sure
Mo Brooks would have been the best.
