Experienced political Alabama columnist Jeff Flowers reports extremely heavy turnout, early, in rural highly evangelical areas.
He seems to have an objective view of the race. Predicts 7% win for Moore. Out of state liberal money poured in...Moore outspent 14/1.
Your sweeping assertions about the whole black American population sound a lot like the flip side of those of the Left when they call conservatives evil and deplorables, etc. and object to large Catholic and Evangelical families. It’s just hate expressed, and you need to find out why that darkness is bubbling up in your soul now, and the Advent season is an especially good time to take stock. You need prayer.
Again, nope.. one rogue Senator is not worth $30 Million!! Republicans are heading into a Senatorial Election that is almost certain to see them gain a few seats.. just look at the map of which seats are up in 18.... 1 Rouge senator for 12 months isn’t going to affect much of anything.... This isn’t about ideology or anything so simple... something bigger is in play that that... and no one is talking...
I hope that is true and it certainly may be true for informed voters. However I think it can also have the opposite effect. Many voters don't know where the money comes from that pay for these ads. All they know is they are sick of all these non-stop TV ads. For some it may have sickened them to the point of not bothering to show up and vote for either of these guys.
You also have to be a registered voter. All require proper documentation.
Sorry, but not buying it... Moore is at best 1 rogue element by that argument and 1 rogue element isn’t worth that kind of cash.. especially when you look at the electoral map for 18. R’s are almost certain to gain seats in the Senate in 18.... This is something bigger than some ideological thing or something so mundane....
Something much bigger is in play here, and no one is talking about it.... About the only argument I’ver hears that even remotely seems to make sense is the Pro Forma session stuff... And even that its dubious to spend that much....
Something is up here folks, and its nothing so mundane or trivial as ideology or a rogue senator to the party... something much bigger is going on.
Judge Moore just rode up on a horse to cast his vote, love it!!!
If Kennedy retires from SCOTUS in June, then one less vote for confirmation will be significant. It gives more power to Collins, McCain, Flake, Graham, etc.
Could be, as I caught the tail end of her convo. Still, the point stands that that Ingram is openly hostile against Roy Moore. A stupefying position on her part; since Ingram is a lawyer, and yet she immediately throws due process out the window whenever an allegation of sexual misconduct is made, because - “women must always be believed” blah-blah-blah.
The outside spending and injection by outside individuals will absolutely backfire... Had the national media and the George Soros types not been so insane, they might have snuck Jones in... but by deciding they would spend the last 6 weeks talking down their noses to Alabamans and telling them how they should feel by not accepting their liberal north eastern world views, they have done more to motivate folks for Moore than Moore could have done himself.
Folks who likely may have stayed home and said, crap choice, I’m sitting this one out... are going to show up to vote Moore just to give these agitators the finger
Yes
I think this is about the vote tally for impeachment
Both Pelosi and Hoyer have said not now.
Why those words exactly?
Thanks for the information, I was going to ask about that.
[There is more to this... way more... its not simply an ideological thing... something way more is going on.]
The GOPe knows JUDGE MOORE will vote against PLANNED PARENTHOOD, AMNESTY, and will support the U.S. CONSTITUTION, as well as, PRESIDENT TRUMP’S agenda.
Man, do I hope you are correct in your analysis. Because, if, by some demonic intervention, Jones were to win - the MAGA Party is over.
“LIberals dont get the fact, the more liberal outsiders talk down to folks the more that dont agree with them the more likely those people are going to give them the finger.
The insane involvement of outside money and individuals stumping for Jones will solidify and motivate people to vote for Moore who likely may have stayed home had they not gotten involved.”
indeed. we conservatives tend to be self-reliant and confident in our own ability to sift through the facts and BS and arrive at our own conclusions minus the various firehoses of propaganda of all type showering down on us 24 hours a day. We therefore have finely tuned BS detectors, and also powerfully resent self-important, elitists, holier-than-thou ignoramuses like “celebrities” and media talking-heads trying to tell us how to think and how to act, and therefore our first reactions to such is to think and do the opposite.
This apparent giant, last-minute influx of “celebrities” into social media exhorting Alabamians to do their bidding is the perfect example of the above. I guarantee you that most Alabamians understand that every one of these celebrities privately impunes the fine people of Alabama as ignorant, racist, redneck hicks who marry their first cousins, dont yet have indoor plumbing, and delight in listening to their idiot children play Dueling Banjos every night on the broken down front porches of their broken down house trailers.
Thanks for the information, I was going to ask about that.
The money Dems have poured into races from out of state is unreal. I’m in the GA-6th and just experienced that last Spring with the Handel-Ossoff race.
He is a post turtle whose main accomplishment was being a Capitol Hill staffer for John Lewis and Hank “Guam Tipping” Johnson - so really a very much counter-indicating resume. Handel has a real resume of fixing screwed up budget situations, and this kid gets $30+million from national Dems. Fortunately he lost, but they made it close, when it shouldn’t have been.
Hopefully Moore wins decisively.
Atta Roy!
The winner of this election will fill the seat for the remainder of Sessions term, due to end on January 3, 2021.
“in rural highly evangelical areas”
LOL!
Heads gonna be ‘sploidin tonight.
