Jake has something in common with the PA: Trump doesn't care if he's mad about it or not. He made a campaign promise and he kept it.

Sometimes, I hear or read about something she says and I have to shake my head in disbelief.

Then, she steps up to the plate again and absolutely crushes it.

Good for her. At first I was afraid she was going to come out on the worst end of this deal. Reading it, I realized right away she was dead on target.

Again, good for her.

The peace process has not moved forward for at least 25 years. Fake Jake Tapper does not have a clue.

If it was such a strong chip, why did it not make the Palestinians fold ? They knew you would never seriously play it. Now they know you will play all your chips.

I hope she can say “Told you so” too. But how long before we can hear it? Will I still be alive. Will either of them?

I find it dumbfounding that an ostensibly “world-class” journalist could so easily piss on his own perceived intelligence, let alone credibility, by adopting such a fatuous narrative!

Doesn’t move the “Peace Process” forward?

Is Jake Tapper the only guy over the age of 12 that doesn’t know when one side of a negotiation becomes intransigent, you start taking things AWAY that were previously conceded?

Reminds me of a good response to a concern troll type comment placed on a critical review of a product sold on Amazon. The troll said, “I guess I don’t understand how x y and z” (I forget the basis of their objection)

The response from the reviewer was brief but effective: “You don’t have to understand.”

The media is missing it’s power. Now it obviously doesn’t matter if they are afraid of any number of things.

Does Jake-y boy ask the Palestinians who launch rockets at Israeli citizens how that moves the “peace process” forward, or does he give them a pass?

When you act like civilized people you make gains. When you act like barbarians you lose things.

In this case they lost the chance of ever getting any part of Jerusalem under their control again.

Not that they ever had a snowball's chance anyway but it is now off the table forever.

You do not tell a nation to carve off a piece of their capital and give it away and you do not make a nation's capital an "International City". It just is not possible without a major war.

Back in 76 my parents were in Israel, they were talking with their taxi driver who said that he was willing to give up the entire West Bank and Gaza for peace. Dad asked about Jerusalem and the guy's face froze and he said flatly, "Jerusalem will NEVER be divided again."

Tapper : “I still don’t see how it moves the peace process forward,”.

Yes Tapper, not only you are dumb, you are clueless, no need repeating.

On June 15th of this year the Senate voted 90-0 on a resolution marking the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem’s reunification. The measure includes language that “calls upon the president and all United States officials to abide by” a 1995 law that urged then-President Bill Clinton to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

Now they complain about it? Oy vey!

It’s called leverage. He delayed moving the embassy once so they could go forward with the piece process. They didn’t go forward, so tough sh!t on the Palis. It’s moving. Next time they won’t trifle with The Donald.
