THE BIG IDEA: There is a stark class divide in the Alabama Senate race. It's larger than the gender gap, and it crosses party lines.
White-collar folks who graduated from college are significantly more likely to defect from GOP candidate Roy Moore than blue-collar, non-college-educated people. The country club set cares far more about their state's reputation and the effect it has on the business climate.

Alabama will look like a bunch of bigoted hicks if they elect a Christian Conservative ... and that's embarrassing ... they will look like sophisticated geniuses if the pick a Libtard rat!
I doubt that most of the people of Alabama give a rat’s a$$ what the elitist eunuchs of the East Coast think.
It’s articles like this that will drive patriotic voters to the polls. Show the elitists in the media what you think of them.
I would think Alabama would be proud to be the state who stuck its middle finger up at the GOPe and the MSM.
The desire not to be embarrassed has never stopped the Post.
Yeah...Yeah...So...So...vote for a commie! Yeah!
Talk about making one’s point for them? The Post sure isn’t the brightest rag in the basket of adorables is it?
The ones standing behind Moore are, most assuredly, NOT embarrassed. Liberals projecting again.
The bombing in NYC has bad timing for Jones
Liberals. Living proof that some people are too damned stupid to be allowed to vote.
It would be embarrassing if conservatives followed the commands of the Fake News Media that hates them.
Roy Moore’s victory in the GOP primary over a sitting U.S. Senator who was endorsed by President Trump puts the author’s silly premise to rest.
Business climate is a starte and local issue. Toyota isnt going to give a rats rump about who is sitting in DC when deciding where to put their next plant.
State issue
Why not, it work so well for the "Deplorable Whisperer".
The assumption seems to be that Alabamians will necessarily be embarrassed by disapproval expressed by DC and Massacussetts. The reaction is more apt to be on the lines of,”Well, bless their little hearts,” which does not mean quite what a denizen of, say, Connecticut, might think it means.
I looked up the word “embarrassment” in the dictionary. Next to the word there was a picture if an Alabama native reading the Washington Post.
Quit embarrassing yourself, WaPo!
I think the WaPo and MzMaxi be whistlin’ Dixie.
Alabama will sent a message to the Progressive, establishment media:
We do not care what you think any more!
