Gee, do you think the NFL Front Office is getting the message yet that our National Anthem matters?
No
When will there be salary cuts to the thug millionaire players...?
The sad thing behind the images...are the thousands of folks who run the food and beverage stands, and are utterly dependent on profits. No fans? No profits. As the players harmed their own interest, they also harmed tens of thousands of folks behind them.
Good. They are trying to make us hate our country, and failing.
There is a significant segment of the population that hates the country, but the majority of Americans don’t, and have no use for specially-privileged America haters.
To all the America haters - clinton, bammy, farrakhan, lizzy warren, al sharpton, kapernick, kathy griffin, ellison - go to hell and get out of this country!
It won’t be long until some of the thugs find that their paychecks are bouncing. Most of the NFL franchises have mega payrolls and rely heavily on TV money to meet their cash flow obligations. It can get old quickly when some of the owners are forced to transfer family dough into the team finances.
Obviously, the team owners who gave the Commisioner his fat contract extension have no clue and deserve to go broke. He should have been fired.
I love seeing this but I’ve reached the conclusion that some American men would rather watch these anti-American thugs than turn the crap off.
BOYCOTT THE NFL!!!
No. The dumbasses just gave Roger Goodell a $200 MILLION dollar contract extension.
Doubling down on stupid.
F**K the NFL!
The sad repercussions of this are the ‘Regular Joes’ (like the food vendors, etc) who are being hurt because of the actions of these overpaid and entitled p***y traitors.
Hopefully they consider a class action suit against the “poor, downtrodden millionaires” perpetrators in order to recover lost revenues.
FUNFL
I, for one, don’t buy stuff from people who spit on me.
But then again, I’m not a liberal...

True.....
The article disingenuously cites the Bills-Colts game as evidence of declining attendance. The game was played in a heavy snowstorm, and probably would have had a lot of empty seats even if there was no national anthem controversy.
And what about the few patriotic players who are affected by these protests?
Sad for sure. But, thats what comes from selfish, racist, ignorant narcissists with some power.
You could consider the whole NFL thing a kind of “tulip bulb” bubble. And the bubble has burst.
People were willing to wrap their lives around NFL football because they had come to feel some kind of bond between themselves and their favorite teams, they felt that how the team did reflected something about themselves, they cared about individual players and how they did. Its one thing to pay a few bucks to see a college game, its entirely another when you are spending hundreds because it is really important to you.
But absent this “bond” between team and the fan, its just a bunch of millionaires throwing a ball around, and who really cares? That’s what these guys failed to recognize, the importance of the bond with their fans. So they an still play ball, but no one is going to pay them millions to do it, because no one really cares who wins.
And the NFL does nothing to fix the issue.
Better yet the NFL is funding politics groups that are striving for open borders. Add that log to the fire!
Labor strife ahead for the NFL, 'specially in light of Goodell's new contract.
