Alabama Democratic Representative Terri Sewell appeared on ABC News This Week to discuss the senatorial special election between GOP candidate Roy Moore and Democratic candidate Doug Jones. Rep. Sewell warned voters that Roy Moore will take the state back to the days of segregation.
"We who have been proud Alabamians know that we have been trying to overcome our painful past, and this candidate, Roy Moore, will only take us backwards and harken us back to the days of segregation, Sewell said.
.@RepTerriSewell: Roy Moore will only take us backwards and harken us back to the days of segregation. https://t.co/r8pECECbmF

She also added that the people of Alabama deserve a senator whose character and integrity wont be in question adding theres no reason to doubt Moores sexual harassment accusers.
.@RepTerriSewell to @ThisWeekABC: If Roy Moore goes to Washington, we will always be questioning his character. https://t.co/r8pECECbmF #ThisWeek pic.twitter.com/ZnHvT33HnH ABC News Politics (@ABCPolitics) December 10, 2017
It is worth noting similar racial rhetoric regarding a GOP politician was also deployed by Vice President Joe Biden in 2012, when he told a crowd of largely African-American American voters that GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney wanted to "put them all back in chains."
The special election is slated for this Tuesday, December 12th.
But its ok for her to stay on the demorat plantation.Got it.
Itll be Armageddon. Ragnarok. Dogs sleeping with cats. CLIMATE CHANGE!!!
Exactly
That's not a donkey. (See: Andrew Jackass)
Great post! However, you forgot to add that tens of thousands will die.
Well the rats are experts in psychological projections. So you should not be surprised
Wew. Cant wait till this election is over. Getting a hyperbole overdose.
LOL... some how I suspect some Harvard dignitaries had ulterior motives there. Next year they’ll have black only water fountains.
It’s not even a word - the word is “hearken”.
Yes, and whites will perhaps be allowed to drink from the hose out back by the dumpster, for now.
Right now, blacks - in colleges and universities - are calling for segregation from white students. The “black caucus” always huddles together in a corner in Congress, and pushes very little legislation that especially benefits any white constituents.
How can Moore - or any, ONE, congressperson push (”harken” only means to listen) us back into segregation. This is not the 50’s and 60’s, and a total, all-out war would erupt if it was tried.
Blacks did not achieve “integration” alone, there were lots, and lots, of white people involved with making it happen.
But, the race card is all they have, so they’re playing it, and the most ignorant amongst us are buying it.
What exactly does harken us back mean?
though Moore claiming that the last time the U.S. was great was during the slave days....Quote, please.
Yawn. Same old lies.
I kinda see a resemblance.
Where have you been? It's from an L.A. Times article back in September. The left brought it up again last week. The quote from the Times was: I think it was great at the time when families were united even though we had slavery they cared for one another . Our families were strong, our country had a direction.
The Democrats have three weapons.
Race Card
Sex Card
Homophobia Card
Summed up as "You're a Poopy Head Nazi because BadFeelz!"
Moore should tweet “For me to take Alabama BACK to the days of segregation I’d first have to switch to the democrat party.”
