The last thing in the world I would want to do is to be forced to take another's life. I see no justification for this officer's actions.
How terrified that poor victim must have been while trying to follow this officers rambling and conflicting commands for several minutes. There is no excuse for this.
Reaching for one’s waistband is never a good idea when dealing with the cops.
The cop was way too hyped up and on edge. Pulling up one’s pants is such a habitual move, even if you aren’t a “sagger.” Any interaction with the police can be dangerous.
That useless piece of garbage went there to kill someone...And he succeeded...It was more like an execution...
The clown officer was ranting kneel, cross your legs, making over the top threats, etc. He is an extreme nutcase.
NO!
Feel safe yet?
Sounds like negilent homicide or manslaughter.
Generally speaking I agree but in this case it seems it was just an instinct since he clearly tried to comply with everything else the office ordered him to do. Playing Simon says at gunpoint is not easy and if you lose the penalty should certainly not be death.
If I were on a jury I would offer to shoot that cop myself. What a useless pile of shiite. He came there to kill. Bankrupt that ass at the very least.
Seems like such a nice young psychopath.
He looks like cop material /s

That’s exactly what he is.
He's fired for now, and may remain so, because he will bankrupt any smaller municipality that hires him.
I usually side with cops too. But this was a bad shoot..period. He complied with every command, was laying on the floor face down, as commanded in his underwear. They commanded him to crawl forward which he did. As he did his underwear was pulling down and he tried to pull them up a little... as he was face down, complying.
They shot him several time with ARs up close. Then... as he was laying there, there was zero effort to perform first aid.
This is all on video. This is a fine example of the modern every cop running around with an AR being “Timmy tactical”.
‘Reaching for one’s...” Whatever. Who says he was reaching for his waistband? You? The cop?
Reaching for your waistband should not come with an automatic death sentence.
“I see no justification for this officer’s actions.”

The guy should have never been allowed to wear a police uniform in the first place.
