Sen. Jon Tester’s tweet about the passage of the Tax Reconciliation Act has gone viral, with more than 42,000 retweets, The Great Falls Tribune reported Saturday....
“I was just handed a 479-page tax bill a few hours before the vote,” Tester said in the video. “One page literally has hand-scribbled policy changes on it that can’t be read.”
“I want you to take a look at this, folks. This is your government at work,” Tester said as he brought the page with the side notations....

We were told by Nancy peLousy that we would needed to pass the bill so we could find out what was in it.

Last week, he had the meeting anyway with empty chairs reminiscent of Dirty Harry's convention speech.
And as I pointed out to the previous two responders, that meeting was for funding the government to prevent a shutdown and not on the tax plan.
He refused the President’s invitation to discuss the bill in the White House and there was the required hours of robust debate.
