I thought he was going to face Federal crimes that could put him in jail for 10 years.
Jerry Brown could have saved the state the cost of the trial by just pardoning the guy to begin with...for all the good it did to have the trial.
Normally San Fransicko would release an illegal on that charge but because of the publicity I expect they will turn him over to ICE. The SF sanctuary city rule is insane. They will only hold an illegal for ICE on multiple felony convictions in the past few years, etc.

The sessions DOJ doesn’t have the balls to go after him, or the people of mexifornia who let this illegal alien get away with it.
This has nothing to do with “immigration hardliners.” I’m not one and I actually think there should be more legal, permitted Latin American immigration, including short-term labor. And I think the prosecutor overcharged and probably could have gotten manslaughter if he’d focused on it and not brought in homicide - a killing with a ricocheting bullet is not homicide, which requires at least some intentionality or knowledge.
But the real problem is to determine can be done about a city with : (a) a massive failure of the justice system (why was this guy even on the streets, let alone back in the US?); a failure of the immigration system (how did he get back in so many times?); and a failure by the City of San Francisco to enforce any order in that town, where the streets have been taken over by convicted felons (legal or illegal immigrants or native citizens), raving lunatics and drug-addicted bums. San Franciscans should be up in arms. But they won’t be.
No federal charges. Jeff Sessions would have to authorize such an action. It would be unpopular with the MSM, so Sessions will give it a good leaving alone.
If I was her father, I would have told the judge that in the absence of the court doing its duty, I would take care of it.

What happened to mandatory minimum prison time for usage of a gun in the commitment of a crime?
The state authorities will probably sneak him out of jail in the dark of night to avoid the Feds.
On a similar note, I read that the Chicago 4 who tortured the white man with disabilities had the charge of a hate crime dropped. Still no trial—going on 1 year now.
That’s what Sessions is planning. I’m sure he got the orders from DJT to get this POS. The verdict sickens me. I would like to see the Facebook pages of those jury members and Im sure a LOT of red liberal flags will pop up.
