Defense attorney Matt Gonzalez said this “verdict should be respected.”
“For those who might criticize this verdict … the president, Vice President … let me just remind them they are themselves under investigation.”

Why would you be shocked by that? California juries are usually tough. Two other defendants were convicted of capital murder in Califorian the same day as Peterson.
He probably set out to kill someone so he could get lifetime room and board and free meals for life (prison). Even HE underestimated how PATHETIC our court system is. I'm sure he's thinking 'Ohhhh no I won't be incarcerated for life, what do I do NOW?'

Exactly I agree..honestly I couldn’t look at a black person for weeks after that verdict without being sick to my stomach..race relations were set back 30+ years that day..build the damn wall already this POS should NEVER have been allowed in this country
