I thought that very same thing when I heard his words after the verdict. He should have been hanging his head in shame at his failure. Instead he attacked President Trump.
Another reason to suspect that the prosecution threw the case is the fact that the defense claimed that the police mistranslated questions asked of the shooter after the shooting. Is there really that level of incompetence in the SF police department? It was a Spanish translator, not a translator of an obscure language from a tiny country on an island in the Pacific, for example.
I have no doubt of that. If Kate had been the shooter and Mr. Taco had been the victim, I wonder how the verdict would have gone.....
