It's a mystery
Even more of a mystery than discovering the motive for a mass causality attack by a guy named Mohammad shouting Allah Akbar

NFL top executives and television partners scrambling
to figure out what went wrong.
What went wrong? Is that 'wrong' as defined by axiological
interpretivism or a Socratic connection to virtue? It's hard
to say, really. Or has the soterical extension of physical prosody
by misguided kneeling subsumed an atavistic reencapsulation?
It beggars the mind and beleaguers the purse, don't you
think? It's obvious to the most casual observer what went
wrong, I must say.

How did a league that was setting ratings records in 2015 suddenly see its audience fall by nearly 20% just two years laterAt this point, if they need to ask that question, then they won't understand (or accept) the answer.

You just can’t make this up. It seems to me that everyone is ‘stuck on stupid.’ And, they just can’t see or refuse to see the truth.

If they are scrambling to figure out what went wrong they deserve to lose that money.

Living in the greater Lost Angeles Metro, I have done without football for a long, long time.
The Rams sucked most years. The Raiders bounced back and forth one time too many.
So the No Football in LA years grew to be okay.
It was just a small step to get to altogether, No Football Period.
And for me, before the kneeling, I was fed up with the thuggery aspect, e.g. 70% blacks, etc.
So kneeling, became the final straw.

Really just two things: 1) Over saturation and 2) Parity. Parity=Mediocrity and that’s what many of the games have been. Mediocre to awful.

While the protest has received the majority of the media attention and the league and TV partners definitely believe its an issue, they dont believe the protest is the reason for the substantial drop in ratings by itself. It is one of the reasons for declining ratings, they believe, not THE reason.
Can the league be that stupid?!!!!
