I think the goal is to end the progressive state as we know it, said Baher Azmy, Legal Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, a progressive-leaning legal advocacy group.

Delays ....Dems not returning blue slips. Trump has also not nominated many to the District Court.
**********************************************
As of November 16, there are 17 judicial nominees that have been reported out of the judiciary committee that foot-dragging McConnell could schedule for a vote whenever he wanted. There are 18 additional nominees being considered by the judiciary committee. The judiciary committee chairman has decided that non-return of the blue slip will not hold up or veto a nominee.
Do some research before you try to blame the lack of confirmations on everything (e.g., blue slips, Trump) but the RINO McConnell Senate leadership.
If you want Trump’s judicial picks confirmed, then the Republicans must be in the majority.
If you don’t care, or just want to see the “GOPe” gone, regardless of the consequences, then his picks will not be confirmed, as they will never get out of committee.
It is a simple as that. Personally, I want his picks confirmed. If my pleas fall on deaf ears, so be it.
The blue slip reversal was very recent. Trump has not filled any where near the total District Court vacancies.
You can ridicule me all you want, but this are the facts. Read how the lib press whines about the fast pace of the Circuit Count appointments.
This is the way to do it. These chains were heaped upon us primarily by robed leftists betraying their offices and nation. The only other effective means would be to get rid of the progressives, and that would be messy (but still a very doable option).
Worthy goal.
Is that you, Karl Rove?
(applause)
From what has been published about President Trump's judicial picks I have to say they're good picks, the President clearly thought through who he wanted, I'd imagine he sought out some very good advice to boot and he's executing his plan here.
I'm liking what he's doing to the courts.
winning the case is not the desired outcome. Running out the clock is the objective.
Until some of the judges are bumped off, there is no effective defense

A more nonsensical Job Title you will never see.
I am frankly astonished by the number of people on FR who do NOT care about Trump’s judicial picks getting confirmed. There is really no point in engaging in politics if you do not intend to win, and the only way his picks will get confirmed if thru a Republican majority.
This board has been consistent in advocating conservative views for many years. Recently, however, enacting these views and policies has taken a back seat to personality cults and insults to those who don’t always follow.
We all saw the damage done from 2008-2010 when the liberals had the majorities.
We saw the liberal domination of the federal bench. We now have a chance to undo this damage, but we must have the majority to do that.
On this point Karl Rove is correct.
I was a lot like you, & I will still vote for the Republican candidate, even if it requires holding my nose when I cast that vote, if I have no other choice to ensure a Democrat victory does not occur. But whenever I have an opportunity to remove the GOPe lackey from the election in the primaries, I will do so.
The deaf ears are from listening to your ramblings that Judge Moore cannot win, and that he is tainted by some allegations whose timing are suspicious, in addition to the actual accusations sounding suspiciously motivated for political reasons. Did you also think the sexual harassment allegations against President Trump were honesty accusations also?
We have more in common than first appeared. I wanted Strange because I thought he was the better candidate - as did Trump. Moore still may win - I hope so, for the same reasons you will vote Republican and hold your nose.
I initially wanted Rubio, but was shocked how fast he wilted.
Let’s hope Trump’s agenda is passed.
Not really he was appeasing the swamp in an attempt for them to start supporting his agendas. Always remember that Donald Trump is and always has been one who tries to seek common grounds to make the deal happen. He even said I may have thrown my support to the wrong candidate, within just a few days of going down and stumping for Luther Strange
Little Marco Rubio? So you are all for open borders then. That is what we would have gotten with him.
How many times did the judge have an interest in a case BUT still did not recuse?
for friends?
family associates?
Business?
and I am just thinking federal....
