Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was pulled over for speeding in upstate New York after she was clocked going 119 mph in a 65 mph zone.
The New York Daily News reported Pirro was stopped by a state trooper in Tioga County around 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
Pirro, the host of "Justice With Judge Jeanine," said she was on her way to visit her ailing mother but vowed to "pay the consequences."
I had been driving for hours to visit my ailing 89-year-old mom and didnt realize how fast I was driving. I believe in the rule of law and I will pay the consequences, Pirro said in a Fox News Channel statement.
New York's Department of Motor Vehicles says a conviction for going more than 40 mph over the speed limit could put 11 points on a driver's license. Eleven points will lead to a license suspension.
Not if she can pull it off as well as she does. She holds her age well I think.
I drove a BMW 528i in Germany at 140 mph (220 km/h). but that was on the autobahn, and people there know how to drive.
Very true. Sometimes you get what you appear to be asking for.
I’m not prudish at all, just think common sense should apply, especially when presenting yourself on a national news channel as a proponent of conservative values.
...for miles. I prefer to think of it in terms of days or weeks.
LOL
If traffic is bumper to bumper in all lanes, I’ll go the prevailing speed. If not, there are plenty of lanes for folks to use to go around.
I have very seldom thought negatively about folks going slower than I want to go. I just go around. It’s no big deal.
Not quite lame.
I drive to NYC frequently. I tend to drive 55 and rarely hit 65 mph going to the city. Driving back is a different story. After 30 miles on the Thruway, the foot kind of freezes and I catch myself driving 70 mph and have to slow down. Driving for a long time at night on an near empty and straight Thruway, one can easily drive fast without realizing it.
140 here, ‘65 Mustang.... high speed high is hard to appreciate since you dare not take your eyes off the road and tach/speedometer.

That's true, but I, for one, am attracted to that quiet librarian look.
“...See my post 146. I thought the SRT Challenger had 485 HP? I recently met a guy who showed me his Hellcat Charger rated at 707 HP. Both are also damn fine vehicles....”
2011 392 Hemi was rated at 470hp stock. Adding the optional Mopar cold air intake adds another 60hp which puts at 530hp. BTW, this car is the most temperature sensitive car I’ve ever owned. The difference in power on a 50 degree day versus a 90 degree day is quite impressive. I attribute it to that cold air intake.
FWIW,my younger brother has a 2015 HellCat.....unlike me, he’s afraid to drive his.....LOL. He let me drive it with the red key fob....I doubt I’ll ever get another opportunity. :)

Yes, she should take off those clothes immediately
and when you ease off the gas pedal .... it just keeps booking right along.
I once hit 120 in my old Honda Accord V6 going to Utah from Las Vegas. I didn’t keep it there long. Just wanted to see if I could hit it. I brought it back down to cruising speed of 100. The speedometer went to 160. I think the speed limit was 80.
Try the Thruway between 1 and 3 am.
One time I drove and there was no one on the Thruway. I thought that maybe the Thruway was closed and I missed the sign as I was the only driver on it for a long time. There were no trucks even. I certainly could have tried driving at 119 mph, if I wanted to, but I didn't. I let out a sigh of relief when I finally saw some headlights behind me.
“Prevailing” Sounds like you aren’t a hazard after all.
*** “I would hate to know what New York charges for that kind of ticket” ***
She will be all right, She can afford it just like she can afford the car that can do that speed and not feel like you are going fast.
I have a motorcycle that is like that, Highway Speed Limit at 75mph and if I don’t watch the speedo next thing I know on these long straight Highways in Texas I,m up to 105 mph then I feel the revs ... it just creeps up on you.
(This Bikes predecessor had a Throttle Cruise Lock, I need to get one for this bike, it will probably save me tickets)
NOT GUILTY!!
LOL!! It’s sad alright. She can get away with it!
Soooo true. I live is USSRWA, and the drivers are clueless. Of course they are mostly dems / socialists / commies so are out of touch with reality anyway!
Route 17 between Owego and Endicott? She was in the middle of nowhere.
