Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” roundtable guest and MSNBC host Joy Reid called it “incredibly disturbing” there were people still supporting Republican Alabama U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore, given he is facing allegations that he acted inappropriately and engaged in sexual misconduct in Etowah County, AL decades ago.

Reid said, “The fact that this is a calculation, we’re talking about something of such a different degree. You talked about all of the past scandals, you talked about the Monica Lewinsky situation, which was clearly an improper relationship. But we’re talking about children. We’re talking about multiple allegations of the abuse of children, and the fact that it’s even a question I think speaks to the position that the Republican party finds it’s in, morally.”

Every time the left goes scorched earth on the people who support conservative politicians, they just strengthen the resolve of the voters. Voters respect people who will not be intimidated by the baying mob. That is a big part of why Donald Trump is President and why Roy Moore will be a Senator from Alabama. The Birmingham News (al.com) has been on a rampage against Judge Roy Moore for many years, especially since their alleged lesbian editor took over as the main editor for the 3 largest newspapers in the state of Alabama and Judge Moore came out against sodomite marriage.

(I've met her and she is VERY butch.)

Kyle Whitmire is an effete "columnist" there (though he's married) and he's written with more vitriol against Judge Moore than anyone, with the possible exception of John "I forgot I declared bankruptcy and I've got a gay brother" Archibald.

They hate Judge Moore and they have made it clear that they do.

Their jobs are also dependent on pleasing their editor. Those 3 papers are owned by Advance and they have laid off over 40% of their employees in the past few years and now only print 3 days a week.

So you have lesbians and leftists calling the shots and maybe a couple of people who are afraid to speak out in fear of losing their jobs.

Did Roy Moore rape any one? Did he grope teenagers? If yes, he needs to drop out. But I have seen no such allegations, much less evidence. The only thing he is accused of doing is trying to start a relationship with women under 21. But where is the evidence to prove even that in court? Even if there was evidence, it is not a felony to ask a teenage woman out.
