Ultimatum: Roy Moore Gives Gloria Allred 48 Hours to Release Yearbook, Demands Evidence Be Preserved

Birmingham, ALABAMA — An attorney for senatorial candidate Roy Moore has given lawyer and activist Gloria Allred forty-eight hours to release to the custody of an independent examiner the original copy of a yearbook that contains the only piece of physical evidence to be presented in the cases of numerous women who have gone public with stories alleging inappropriate conduct between Moore and teenage girls.

The letter to Allred was dated yesterday and obtained by Breitbart News. Attorney Trenton R. Garmon, who represents Moore and his wife, Kayla, further requested that Allred take steps to ensure the “immediate and professional preservation of the yearbook.”

The letter demanded that Allred and her client, accuser Beverly Young Nelson, issue a “full and fair public retraction” of all “false statements” concerning Moore.

The letter stated:

Yep, but a liberal DA or judge could force him to have to appeal to have the case heard.

Hannity has been disgusting over this. He keeps preaching we should wait and find out whilst he has all his guests spouting how Moore should step down.
Hannity is trying to have it both ways, and then have his guests do his dirty work.

Would be interesting to see someone else’s COPY of that YEARBOOK. Surely they could get one from the school. I bet Young’s picture isn’t on that page on the real yearbook. Looks like someone cut those pictures out of another yearbook and pasted them on that page. Might explain the age discrepancy issue as well.

these days with modern forensics and technology, crime and especially forgery just does not pay...only reward is free vacation at the grey bar hotel. allred should have authenticated the yearbook inscription and signature before the press conference...in this case she apparently overlooked the common sense question of why the initials D.A. and why at Christmas? play stupid games win stupid prizes.

I read that the poll used was heavily over sampled in favor of the Dems. In other words, it wasn’t a poll, it was advocacy masking as “news”.

The Birmingham News has been on a rampage against Judge Roy Moore for many years, especially since their alleged lesbian editor took over as the main editor for the 3 largest newspapers in the state of Alabama and Judge Moore came out against sodomite marriage.

I've met her and she is VERY butch.

Kyle Whitmire is an effete "columnist" there (though he's married) and he's written with more vitriol against Judge Moore than anyone, with the possible exception of John "I forgot I declared bankruptcy and I've got a gay brother" Archibald.

They hate Judge Moore and they have made it clear that they do.

Their jobs are also dependent on pleasing their editor. Those 3 papers are owned by Advance and they have laid off over 40% of their employees in the past few years and now only print 3 days a week.

So you have lesbains and leftists calling the shots and maybe a couple of people who are afraid to speak out in fear of losing their jobs.

But this is a hate campaign of the highest order.

I think it's funny and that's how you lose in court.

She has absolutely no option but to retract.

It was taken by a Rino polling group which HUGELY oversampled Dems. A poll using correct sampling came out next day showing Moore up by 6 plus there was another day before had him up by 4.

Alabama is one of the reddest States in America and there is no way the vote for a very vocal proponent of abortion over ANY Republican.

But it wasn’t a legit spread. The latest Pew survey of demographics by party affiliation in Alabama had a 12 point spread between Democrats and Republicans with Republicans of course having a greater lead while in this poll they showed Republican registrations leading Democrat by just four or five.

The state has voted Republican in every presidential election since 1980, and Democrats have not seriously contested the state since. ... In 2004, George W. Bush won Alabama’s nine electoral votes by a margin of 25 percentage points with 62.5% of the vote, mostly white voters.

Copying this comment from LS onto a few threads:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3605616/posts?page=25#25

FYI: In the AL primary 480,000 Rs voted. 84,000 Ds.

Richard Baris at PPD says the AL split is something like 52-39 (R/D). You can do the math and see how bogus this poll is.

He did do this days ago.

The demand letter was sent several days ago.

The media is just not covering it.

Moore is working the issue as a serious legal case and is acting professionally to tee this up for court filing and expedited review and action and also to eventually win, which he will do.

Allred and Nelson need to get legal representation in this because their public grandstanding is going to kill her in court.

My bet is Nelson negotiates a public recanting and apology to Moore - and perhaps providing evidence and testimony on the inner workings of Allred’s pay-to-say slime machine.

“someone cut those pictures out of another yearbook and pasted them on that page.”

You may be right. Look how uneven the pictures’ edges are and the spacing between the pix and the names.

So Sean Hannity, are you going to give Gloria Allred 24 hours to release the yearbook?

Moore will never drop out - he has a cause fighting for the "old" values of this once great nation. The Senate may decide to finally commit their GOPee suicide and refuse to seat him and I will applaud that move as the party disappears like the Whigs. IMHO Moore will win the AL election.

Just go ahead and commit your long awaited suicide GOP!!

700 is not small sample if it is reasonable Dem-Rep-Ind makeup.

True. My suspicion is that the likely voter numbers are going to be hard to figure. This is a special election in the middle of December. I see very low turnout with pro-Moore forces far more motivated than anti-Moore (there is no real pro-Jones movement) forces.
