Donald Trump. Bill O'Reilly. Harvey Weinstein. Michael Oreskes. Kevin Spacey. Casey Affleck. Louis C.K. Roy Moore. Larry Nassar. The list keeps growing, and we know that for every big name accused of sexual misconduct there are countless more in the stories of millions of women who have been coming forward to say me too.
In this moment, it is crucial for men to be speaking publicly and unequivocally in support of standards for sexual behavior based on respect, meaningful mutual consent, and awareness of differences in power. But the scope and depth of the problem require more than this.

What all (people) must not do: Blur actual assault, sexual intimidation, and rape together with proven-false claims of same so as to remove truth from the equation entirely and allow any (left-wing) person to destroy another by the mere utterance of a claim.
Girls have cooties.
The All Men Are Bad garbage has to be completely rejected.
MGTOW men, if you desire freedom from accusation ruining your life.
I have no respect for a woman who ‘comes forward’ 30 years later claiming ‘victim’ status.
True rape should be dealt with harshly...*but*...until false accusation of rape are dealt with just as harshly I have a hard time really caring.
Understood. The article presumes to dictate what a man should do. I reject that entire premise, and replace it with my own; a good man will act, and needs no prompting from a self-sanctimonious progressive.
“In this moment, it is crucial for men to be speaking publicly...”
What? I don’t need to speak squat about anything, you left wing chickenpluckers. Come around and ring my doorbell, you left wing freaks, and see what happens to you.
What all men must do??
DOUBLE DOWN!!!
BBWWAAHHAAA!
We need to decisively reshape the social meaning of masculinity to include vulnerability, capacity for empathy and the entire range of emotional experience and expression.
...and in this corner,...
4 Teacher, they said to Jesus, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?
6 They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. 7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone." 8 Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.
9 When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, Where are your accusers? Didnt even one of them condemn you?
11 No, Lord, she said.
And Jesus said, Neither do I. Go and sin no more.
Now THAT is how a Real Man deals with harassment. No safe spaces, no Antifa rioting, no big hugs. Maybe a reshaping is needed....but we needn't look ahead, just back 2000 years.
Piss off, Steve Whining-man ...
I refuse to change my name to Chelsea.
No, thanks, Mr. Henry Beecher. I took the red pill and don’t indulge in Roman polytheism, messing with other men’s wives, making excuses for messing with other men’s wives or messed up metaphors.
Churches gradually chose their new bed since around 1970. They’ll lay in it.
First, I did not read the entire article. Why? Because it nauseates me for women to come out of their hole 20 to 30 or more years after (with a scum bag lawyer) an “alledged” incident and claim some guy put his hand on her knee and demand money!
There’s a statute of limitations on assault for a damn good reason. It should be enforced methodically.
That's what I was thinking too.
“I have no respect for a woman who comes forward 30 years later claiming victim status.”
Especially if said women made millions by remaining silent (in Hollywood); even worse, their silence exposed many other people to the same treatment. You could say they were COMPLICIT.
“In this moment, it is crucial for men to be speaking publicly and unequivocally in support of standards for sexual behavior based on respect, meaningful mutual consent, and awareness of differences in power.”
When people do this, they are accused of anti-Muslim bias...
That means two-thirds would not force themselves on an unwilling woman, not even if they could get away with it. This shows first that most of us are decent people, and second that enough people are dangerous that all people need to be alert, careful, and armed.
First, get her good and drunk. Then ask her to sign the consent form
