Wolf Blitzer 11/15/17 ROY MOORE'S CAMPAIGN PUSHES BACK AGAINST ALLEGATIONS
33 minutes in. She will only agree to a Senate hearing. Won't agree to a lie detector or to have the yearbook examined.
Her backing down says she knows this is a forgery at this point. She could still claim she didn’t know it was a forgery when she brought her client forward with these claims, but at what point does she become an accomplice to libel?
I was only half attentive to this discussion with Reagan. There was another guest participating, didn’t catch his name. He mentioned new accusations in the past 24hrs, and then said that that was “evidence.”
Apparently when accusations pile up, they become evidence.
I waited for Reagan to school the guy but...no. He’d rather have a baby killing advocate than a “predator.”
known or should have known. Due diligence. She can’t falsely accuse a criminal act. She is dancing about lying to a judge by not filing suit and demanding a senate hearing from the eunuchs there.
If she won’t agree to something as simple as letting the document / yearbook be examined, which is something that could affirm her client’s allegations fairly quickly (at least to the extent of Moore knowing her vs. his denials), then this at least leads credence to this being purely a publicity stunt.
Right...if the document could be verified as authentic, it would prove Moore was indeed a liar. So why not immediately allow it to be examined to prove it once and for all?
This alone is very suspicious.
Let me know please if you find out
I’m sorry you had to suffer that experience.
It’s frightening that there are people of so little character - even some on the level of members of Congress! - who will use mere, unproved allegations for personal or political gain, and are willing to allow a man’s reputation to be destroyed in the process.
A lot of the evil in our world now is ‘trickle-down’, with rich, powerful, privileged people conducting themselves poorly and trying to make such conduct ‘normal’, turning natural human values upside-down.
(To my original point: compare the stilted ‘testimony’ of Beverly Nelson, to the spontaneous testimony of Leeann Tweeden about her experience with Al Franken...)
Yes, you are right. I vaguely remember it.
