Attorney General Jeff Sessions is considering the appointment of a special counsel to investigate several GOP allegations of misdeeds by Hillary Clinton, according to a report Monday night.
Sessions wants prosecutors to look into the Republican concerns and report directly to him and a top deputy, according to a letter obtained by The Washington Post.
Republicans want to know if the former first lady was properly investigated for using a private e-mail server while secretary of state or if the Clinton Foundation granted any special to big donors.
The GOP is also seeking more information about Secretary of State Clinton’s role in the controversial sale of a Canadian mining company — with significant uranium interests in the US — to Russia.
Earlier this year, Sessions recused himself from the probe into President Trump’s alleged Russian ties. Then top Sessions deputy Rod Rosenstein appointed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the matter.

Odds are that he will rationalize her wrongdoing and declare her free of any criminality.

Maybe he could consider taking the money required and dropping it from an airplane, at least it would be put to some use.
They don’t need a special counsel. Investigations is their job!
