Woman Fired For Flipping Off Donald Trump’s Motorcade

WASHINGTON ― You may have seen this photo of President Donald Trump’s motorcade winding down a wooded road last week as a woman on a bicycle appeared to give it the bird.

The picture, snapped by a White House photographer traveling with the president as he left his golf course in Sterling, Va., went viral almost immediately. News outlets picked up the story when it appeared in a White House pool report. Late-night talk show hosts told jokes about the encounter and people on social media began hailing the unidentified woman as a “she-ro,” using the hashtag #Her2020.

The bicyclist’s name is Juli Briskman and her employer ― government contractor Akima LLC ― wasn’t so happy about the photo. In fact, Akima fired her over it.

How in the world did she get so close to the motorcade?

My guess would be that she was cycling down the road and the motorcade passed her.

How does her employer know that ass ?

She posted it on her Facebook site which no doubt names her employer.

“...but if she performed well in the job, It seems excessive.”

Her posting of the picture violated company policy. The company did what Goodell was too stupid to do. Case closed.

There's this wonderful nugget in the story....:-)

Virginia is an employment-at-will state, meaning employers can fire people anytime and for any reason. But Briskman said what’s been particularly infuriating is that a male colleague kept his job after recently posting lewd comments on his Facebook page that featured Akima LLC as his cover photo. She said this colleague was reprimanded for calling someone “a fucking Libtard asshole” on Facebook, but was allowed to delete the post and keep his job.

I’m glad she got fired. I wish it weren’t this way, but the left made it this way. The aggressor sets the rules, so I’m just celebrating the even application of the New Rules.

My hope is that the left will grow tired of living under the onerus rules that were never meant for them but only the lower caste (us) and will insist upon returning to the Old Rules for everyone. I don’t know if this will ever happen, but I am sure that they will never insist upon doing away with speech codes that only apply to conservatives out of their good-natured spirit.

If a coworker got reprimanded but not let go for similar issues than she might have a complaint. Even Virginia has laws about equal treatment in the workplace and federal law surely does...especially when it comes to registered federal contractors and how they must treat their employees under federal law.

I don’t like the assault against the first amendment here especially since her employer was under federal contracts...not the state of Virginia!

True, what a poor example for children. Probably her whole approach to life is fitting them to fail and whine, life long, while feeling they are God’s gift to the world.

She’s old enough to have learned better manners by now.

And she blames Puerto Rico on the President - because he causes hurricanes, of course.

I can not believe how unhinged some of them are.

She might get a job offer from the Bush family as a reward for doing what they would all like to do.

Yes but her firm is a federal contractor and under different rules such as EEOC for federal workers. If she proves that a fellow male worker was treated more leniently than she was for the same offenses, she could file an equal treatment lawsuit under federal law. Of course this could also lead to the male being fired to cut the company’s exposure. Hence the caustic domino effects of nasty libtards on society!

Her employer is a Government contractor. She impacted their image. She obviously wasn’t an employee worth taking the het for and this was a good excuse. She got exactly what she deserved for acting without thinking.

Good. Normal people have been getting fired for years over less.

“How in the world did she get so close to the motorcade?”

That’s a good question. I remember when the motorcade with Reagan’ hearse was being transported to/from the Reagan Library, every living thing was banned for several miles along the route.

A cyclist can do as much damage as any other person if he really wants to.
