Devin P. Kelley, who was court martialed from the U.S. Air Force, was identified as the gunman who walked into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, on Sunday morning and murdered at least 26 people, wounding many more in the tiny, rural community near San Antonio...
.....His LinkedIn page also says, “I am a hard working dedicated person. I live by the core values on which the Air Force go by.”
However, CBS News reported that the suspect is former “US Air Force E1 (2010-2014) He received a dishonorable discharge He was court martialed in May 2014.”....

La Times, Wash Post, and CBS now say Kelley had a bad conduct discharge, not a dishonorable discharge.

I quit going to my church about a month ago and do online church now. My “conservative” Missouri-Synod Lutheran Church teamed up with lutheran Social Services (FEDERAL REFUGEE CONTRACTOR) to get out of debt.
Unless I’m mistaken, every shooter in the last two years (Pulse excepted) has been prior government. Either employee or enlisted. That seems a bit odd.

Actually, the law is more straightforward than that. Under 18 USC 922(g)(6), it is a federal felony for any person discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions to possess any firearm or ammunition, and a felony under 922(d)(6) to sell or otherwise dispose a firearm to a person while knowing or having reasonable cause to believe the person was dishonorably discharged.. No need to examine whether the dishonorable discharge was the result of a general court martial or the result of a felony conviction.
The question will be who gave him this gun or sold it to him. Hard to believe it was an FFL: I have to assume an FBI check would turn up a dishonorable discharge, and it’s hard to imagine an FFL would risk getting caught selling a gun under the table.
That leaves only a few possibilities: Maybe he bought it from a non FFL at a gun show or that he found on Craig’s List (which would add fuel to the push for “universal background checks”). Maybe he bought it from a non FFL who knew him, who will now have to answer questions as to how he didn’t have reason to know this guy was dishonorably discharged. Or maybe his Antifa buddies gave it to him, which will have obvious ramifications. Or maybe the reports are inaccurate and he was not dishonorably discharged (that report does come from CBS, after all).
I despise how the FBI swoop immediately in...take over...then seem to cover everything up.

Is that the source of the Antifa rumor? I have a hard time finding it credible. If there was a second shooter at large, I think at least one of the agencies involved would have said so by now. If they kept it a secret and the second shooter ended up killing someone else, there would be hell to pay for all involved.
