Add Rob Reiner to the list of celebrities who wouldnt accept an invitation to visit Donald Trumps White House.
Speaking with Yahoo Entertainment about his timely new political drama, LBJ, the outspoken filmmaker & political activist indicated that hed steer clear of a one-on-one meeting with Trump, even if the invitation came with the opportunity to screen his portrait of Americas 36th president (played by Woody Harrelson) for the 45th inhabitant of the Oval Office.
I would never go to his White House, Reiner says emphatically. Not only do I not agree with him politically, but I find him to be a disagreeable person, and a person with no feelings or empathy for anybody but himself.
Hopefully our country & democracy will survive this presidency, but this is one of the biggest challenges democracy has ever faced to have someone as DISREPUTABLE as Donald Trump in the White House.
In the unlikely event that Trump does watch LBJ, which opens in theaters on Nov. 3, Reiner isnt holding his breath that hell learn anything from it.
He doesnt seem to want to learn anything; thats the most upsetting thing. He has no interest in it, because its not about him personally. He only cares about his own survival and his own pocketbook.
Reiner, who was 16 when Johnson took office, admits to not thinking highly of LBJ during his administration, especially as the Vietnam War grew to overshadow his domestic agenda.

Couldn’t fit through the front door.
Too busy being a sexual predator?
Rob, before you send RSVP “regrets,” you have to be invited.
Just Meathead being Meathead.
You wouldn’t be invited, Meat Head.
#1 is a quote from Rob Reiner.
I guess that Meathead is fond of the corrupt and despicable racist old bastard.
I hope this movie tanks.
Says a HOLLYweIRDO....another movie to NOT SEE.
#U Meathead.
What the difference between fat Rob Reiner and a sack of crap?
The sack.
People need to quit supporting Hollywood. They hate everything you stand for.

“Hopefully our country & democracy will survive this presidency, but this is one of the biggest challenges democracy has ever faced to have someone as DISREPUTABLE as Donald Trump in the White House.
Meathead, you described Clinton and Obama to a tee.
So, Reiner knows president Trump personally? I mean, he would have to in order to try and make these judgments about him right? Oh wait, he’s a liberal in Hollywood and therefor feels his opinion is superior if even he’s got no basis for it.
“...I find him to be a disagreeable ...”
From one who has wallowed in the slimy cesspool of hollywood.
He would attend the White House long before I would ever attend his movie.
I doubt very seriously he would ever invite you anyway, meathead.
“Rob, before you send RSVP “regrets”, you have to be invited.”
You mean that his majesty, Mr. Reiner, may not be invited to the lowly President’s event???
How absolutely outrageous!!!
