Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued a call for an independent investigation into Trump campaign collusion with Russians just moments after Special Counsel Robert Mueller unsealed indictments for campaign operatives Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, who have turned themselves in to federal authorities.
Pelosi’s statement mentions the collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia but does not address recent revelations about Hillary Clinton’s ties to a discredited dossier about Trump and Russia.
Pelosi said in the statement:

Even with an accelerating Special Counsel investigation inside the Justice Department, and investigations inside the Republican Congress, we still need an outside, fully independent investigation to expose Russia’s meddling in our election and the involvement of Trump officials. Defending the integrity of our democracy demands that Congress look forward to counter Russian aggression and prevent future meddling with our elections.

Translation: Mueller’s only grasping at straws and isn’t making enough juicy stuff up - we need some real pros to start paying other pros to generate more fake “evidence”....
I am confused as to why you would believe a claim that mueller is in an alliance that should not exist for legal reasons.
Lets say it is true
Sit back and imagine the legal ramifications.
And if people keep CLAIMING there is a secret alliance based on secret sources and the other side starts believing it ..it is possible things are going to get much worse.
Why? Did the evidence not go the way that crazy Pelosi thought it would?
Or she has read that secret sources say there is a secret alliance with Trump and thinks something should be done about it
Question on what happens next? Does the special council prosecute Manafort/Gates? If so, that could take a damn long time.....years. Everyone says it has nothing to do with the election....other than keep the SC in business for as long as they want to stretch this out.

Nancy Pelosi is skating on some very thin ice if there is a call out for a different “special counsel” to further investigate ties with Russian involvement with the US Presidential election process.
Because new investigations will only lead in one direction, if they are expected to bear fruit. Currently, Robert Mueller is trying very desperately to lead the course of investigation AWAY from those trails leading back to the campaign of Herself, but that is getting harder all the time, now that the Brothers Podesta are sort of getting highlighted.
Cue up “Mission Impossible” theme music.

If said alliance exists mueller is compromised.
And the other side will tear into it..especially when the claim comes from alleged insiders that is then propagated on a conservative site

Any taint on Mueller on trumps behalf does not help trump.

Most of us can say we’ve been following LS’s posts (and feeling superior) for some time. But I’m still not convinced Mueller has gone straight.
He didn’t do the right thing when offered this job. Put a Geiger counter in the same room with him and it’ll peg the meter.
After taking the job, he staffed it with never Trumper lawyers.
Yes it’s possible he’s had a come to Jesus moment, but what about his legal team?
We need an independent, independent counsel to independently investigate Pelosi and her communist “democrat” comrades.
Pelosi has dropped some more marbles. A special prosecutor for Uranium 1, and the “Dossier” leads straight to Hillary.
Shut this damned stuff down!! They are trying to overthrow our government and take it over... this is not an equal playing field... obama’s and alinsky’s fingerprints are all over this attempt to take the power from the people and rule us by decree. I totally agree with this headline from Nancy Pelosi. We should have a separate Russia investigation. This separate investigation should center in on the sale of Uranium One to the Russian gov’t-owned firm Rosatom. Good idea, Nancy!
The last straw for me was the juvenile vanity yesterday with the sole intent to mock LS and his POV. Strange, I believed the desire her was to share our views and discuss them, not to mock and play the one up bull.
I’m reconsidering my monthly donation if that thread is still up.
We are facing a very serious threat to the functionality of our government and find I have no patience for the childish ‘I’m right your wrong’ commentary.
