After 5½ months of speculation, anticipation and, in some cases, dread, Americans on Monday learned of the first charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 campaign. Paul Manafort, Donald Trump’s onetime campaign chairman and a longtime Republican strategist, along with Rick Gates, Manafort’s business associate and deputy on the Trump campaign, were indicted on 12 counts, including money laundering, operating as unregistered foreign agents, failing to disclose overseas bank accounts and making false statements to federal authorities. (The two men pleaded not guilty on Monday afternoon.) Separately, Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his interactions with a professor with ties to the Russian government

There is no indication or analysis of the substance or accuracy of the charges. There is no indication of whether the charges have anything whatsoever with the Trump presidential campaign, collusion with Russia or anything of substance.
Just people hoping that somehow Mueller will be able to destroy Trump.

After 5 months on the job, Mueller has some flimsy evidence against Manafort.
Where is he going next? HAH. Good question. Maybe in a year or so, he’s concoct some more phony/baloney stuff against another former Trump staffer.
Or...
later this week, he’ll drop the bomb against the Podestas, the Clintons, Comey, Lynch and even Obama. Why not? The evidence - the proof is there.

All that digging and Mueller’s got nothing on President Trump.
Mueller has surrounded himself and staffed his investigation with nothing but Democrat loyalists. There will be no charges brought against any Democrat. The strategy going forward is to drag out the “investigations” long enough to impact the 2018 and 2020 elections.

Maybe he’ll go out and find other Republicans who claimed owner occupancy on a mortgage application (one of the alleged Manafort acts in the “Conspiracy Against the United States” charges).
That says it all.
They deserve only the very worst.
