Rt 128 is the "Inner" Beltway, and Rt 495 is the "Outer Beltway. Boston is in the middle, with the Atlantic ocean to the East of it.

Rt 128 will have you go 40 congested miles versus the 5-6 miles through the City, and is FOREVER under construction. Not only that, but most of the major Tech Companies are located right ON Rt 128, and they all have several hundred employees each, are placed cheek and Jowl along the highway, and have limited access ramps to get to them.

I live off Rt 3 near Plymouth.

AND it's under construction at the moment! LOL! Here is a map:

No, the Commuter Boat is quite nice. When I flew in from Florida to visit my parents, my Dad used to meet me at the airport and take the boat back to Quincy. At the terminal, there was berthed a WW2 Navy Ship (a light cruiser, I think) called the USS Salem. Before getting into his car and driving home, we would look at the ship, as my Dad loved his time in the Navy (WW2 and Korea).

Of course, in winter...it’s a whole other story! Brrrrrrrrrrrr

ONLY if I am going to Boston. Not if I am going to Maine. Now if I could get me a little helicopter, I would be content.

Ultralight. You don’t have to have a license to fly those, according to my helo pilot son. :)

He was grounded from the big ones because of a health issue, but is wanting an ultra light SO bad!
