A Russian government-backed green energy company called Joule lost a lot of money as it collapsed in the wake of President Trump's "unexpected" election to president. It had been literally banking on a Hillary Clinton electoral victory, according to a new investigative report from the Daily Caller, expecting a Clinton presidency's renewable energy focus would be just the thing for the company's fortunes. The plan flamed out when Trump was elected.

What kind of a company can only stay afloat if it has political connections? It would have to be a company that simply couldn't produce anything it could otherwise sell of value. That's what the Daily Caller seems to have found. Joule was known for its secrecy, leaving the biotech industry baffled, the Caller reported. It also tended to overpromise and underdeliver, making wild promises to investors on what it had in the works.

What is certain is that a company that can't stand on its own probably isn't a company that should be out there. A company that relies on having superior government connections rather than producing a superior product might be pleasing to someone who hates free market capitalism, but it's not a credible company. It's a front for something. Was it a front for Russian spies, or was it a front for payoffs to connected Clinton cronies in exchange for subsidies? With Podesta's Joule, there don't seem to be any possibilities in between.
Small wonder we haven't heard much lately about 'Trump colluded with the Russians to win the election." The Russian colluding we are seeing has the Podesta name on it.

HIM, and the Clintoon’s making mony! That’s all.
This would have been a money laundering operation from the Clinton regime, to Podesta, then to leftie candidates...pass through laundering.
Gee, haven’t we seen that before...Charlie Trie, Solyndra, etc.
Joules was a Kremlin/KGB fraudulent front company to take money from U.S. taxpayers while it established ties to the U. S. government to steal technology secrets. When Clinton was defeated the company immediately folded.
How is he still drawing breath?
He should be on the list by now.
Hustling for cash was the point.
Joule Unlimited, a secretive green energy company that appears to have placed a big bet hiring Democratic insider John Podesta to its board, appears to have been doomed... Dmitry Akhanov, the president and CEO of Rusnano USA Inc., a Kremlin-owned venture capital firm nicknamed "Putin's child," oversaw the Russian government's investment in Joule and sat on its board along with two other Russians with ties to the Kremlin. Akhavov agreed that Clinton's loss doomed the company.
The energy industry has become a haven and cash cow for lawyers, politicians and other scoundrels. The industry is so mired in regulations and regulators that only those with political connections can profit. Enron was one of the first to seize on this opportunity..
Solyndra? Solyndra? Solyndra? (Ferris Bueller drone....)
Recall the high-flying days of Enron, and all their shell companies.
This was just another shell company.
Fronting for the Clinton Family Crime Syndicate.
And while Enron was doing its thing, the LA city power & light, or whatever, was also making big money at the same time, piggybacking on Enron's manipulations.
These guys partied and looted without ever thinking of the consequences because they thought they would never lose and if they DID lose it would be to a cuck like McCain or Romney.
Pedoesta ? I’m thinking he did it for the kids.
Uh...wha-... I...
My mind is beyond blown.
You know it’s bad when a 30 second parody is better than a 2 1/2 hour film.
Best part was the football.
“The Jedi need to end.”
“Haha, what a story, Mark!” sums up my feelings. I don’t know what’s up with the plot but I hope it’s better than the totally unnecessary episode 4 remake they did last time.
“....for the kids...”
More likely did it “TO the kids”.
