The fun has begun!
Tonight's dinner is BBQ ribs & chicken, potato salad and cole slaw. There will dart games, Scrabble and lots of BS'ing and laughter.
Tomorrow the shooting starts at 10:00 at Hicksville Range in Gatesville. Eaker's ashes will be blown into the Heavens at 11:00. If things follow the same pattern as every other shoot, we'll eat lunch around 1:00.
Looking forward to seeing all that show up, will miss those can't make it.

Looks like some fun! If ... and that’s a big IF ... I ever manage to get away to join y’all sometime, I’ll have my darts packed. Several of us used to throw every Fri. night but now none of the bars seem to want to put up dart boards.

There is this liability issue.
The old dart board at Cherokee Village was right beside the restroom door LOL so they moved it.
Lot places don’t want drunk dart payers nowadays but I say it “keeps you on your toes” LOL
Oh they always wander about but they had some trepidation about the children plucking their feathers LOL
They would kind go into hiding when the kid were about
It was a lovely weekend and we missed you.

Hold up. There was some loudmouth hick at the shoot who called himself a “pilot”, Drank up a bunch of my whiskey, then made the ladies cry.
I thought for sure that was you. Maybe it was your evil twin. Hummergummer, or sumpin like ‘at.
By the bathroom door isn’t the best place for a dart board, is it? LOL! Good idea to move it.
There was a dart league in our area for many years and there were a lot of bars that hosted their tournaments.
What happened was that one by one, the bars were sold and the new owners just didn’t want people throwing darts in their establishments. They’re all catering to the millennial crowds and forgetting about us older folks. We rarely go out any more.
