McCain was awarded the National Constitution Centers Liberty Medal Monday. Many speakers at the event decried what they see as a rejection of Americas role as a world leader.
PHILADELPHIAU.S. Sen. John McCain jabbed Monday night at unnamed pushers of isolationist politics, saying at his National Constitution Center Liberty Medal ceremony in Philadelphia that abandoning Americas role as an international leader is unpatriotic.
The six-term Republican senator from Arizona made the remarks after receiving the award for a lifetime of service and sacrifice to the country.....

Waiting for this traitor to his party and his constituents to take a dirt nap.
McShamey is a lying traitorous coward
Come on tumor! Do your job!
What are those exact and quotable actions and words this administration that had you arrive at this “half-baked nationalism” conclusion?
Go Out Swinging, You Traitor!
Arizona? McCain and Flake? Really?
I prefer fully baked Nationalism.
I just cannot even read anything more about him. I wish he would just leave, go away.
I think McLames brain cancer is fake. He uses it to deflect criticism and to be conveniently out of pocket.
Between being on opioid pain killers constantly which leads to brain saturation and chronic constipation which in itself can also cause the brain to go crazy if not treated properly, McCain is skating on thin ice and is trying to pull the rest of the GOP and President Trump out there with him.
Hey buttwipe, just die, OK?
This nasty old man looked and sounded pretty bad.
Very sad that a person would want to die being hateful.
Captain McCain who played the US Generals to Obama’s presidential run.
If he goes and they appoint Kelli Ward then we’re stuck with Flake. They better not do that!!
Flake has to go! Imagine him with 6 years and election around the corner. No matter what happens they better NOT appoint Kelli Ward to the Senate to save him. If you’re from Arizona speak up against this!
According to McCain, nationalism - the belief that our national sovereignty and institutions are worth preserving - is "unpatriotic," so by implication, globalism, which subverts national sovereignty and identity, is "patriotic." Orwell would be so proud.
I think so too. It is to deflect him getting subpoena over the Russian dossier business. As in” why would you put an old person with cancer through this”.
But he’ll retain the energy to run around and trash us and Trump.
McCain is wrong.
Churchill was a true leader, even before enough others were agreeing with him. Being a true leader is not measured by how many are agreeing with you. Leading is leading which can mean being ahead of others, whether they willingly follow or not. Being a leader does not require agreeing to compromise for the sake of going along to get a along.
Trump is currently right on many things that many western European leaders are wrong on. Trump is leading, whether they are agreeing or not.
I thought he looked and sounded normal for McCain. I didn’t see any debilitating effect of a fight against cancer.
