VP Pence goes to an NFL football game. Players protest the national anthem. VP Pence leaves.
Good for you, Mr. Vice President!!
Someone in the NFL forgot what they’re there for.
Looks like they take the knee because they are all black! The few white players follow suit so they can be safe in the locker room.
When obama became President, the blacks lost much of their progress... he didn’t do a thing for the public schools in the cities where they needed it.. he didn’t upgrade their plot in life.. he degraded them to riots and ugly tantrums... defying law and order... obama was a disgrace to his race.. and it’s a shame their first black President was barack obama. There are so many who could have done them proud... Justice Thomas... for example...
The Major General next to him should have been saluting or at a minimum had his hand over his heart. There is NOTHING in the Army regulations that prohibits either. Shame. One of Obama’s Generals i guess.
I wouldn’t know, I’m watching baseball.
I suspect most of the owners are all for the protest and chuckle with their left-wing friends.
Colin, thanks to you as a BLM/NFL idiot, you woke Americans up to the NFL scam on our tvs and our tax payer stadiums. Your contribution to Americans will be remembered, like the 8 years of Obama and H. Clintoon's campaigning gave us President Trump!
Or the Dallas Cowgirl Pussies!
I am unsure though if any Colts took a knee. 49ers did.
You're only looking at one side of the picture. Yes, many of the players are doubling down on stupid, but on the other side, more and more Americans are siding against their idiotic, unpatriotic displays.
The President and Vice President have read this situation correctly, and have executed a flawless public relations play.
Touchdown!
That's ridiculous. Let's not forget that people are entitled to their own opinions—and also consider the fact that the vast majority of players stand for the anthem with their hands over their hearts. Those are the players that need to exert pressure on their malingering teammates.
Being a Miami Dolphins fan—and the Dolphinsa have been one of the worst offenders—I'm fully on board with the #NFLBoycott myself, but calling those who still choose watch "traitors and sellouts" is entirely too strident, given the totality of the facts...
You’re free to continue supporting the NFL. Be my guest.
If that's true, it's because of all the winning.
Even clownish Dolphins owner Stephen Ross capitulated and asked all of his players to stand today, and the result was that the three remaining malcontents—Kenny Stills, Michael Thomas, and Julius Thomas—were banished to the locker room, isolated while the rest of the team was standing respectfully on the sidelines for the national anthem.
These punks didn't get to make their precious protest, and they probably felt left out, being separated from their team at this significant time.
It won't be long before there are just a couple of total assh-les who are the only ones left—and when their contracts expire, they're going to face a chilly reception by their prospective new teams—because no team wants disruptors and distractions.
The patriotic fans are winning this one-sided battle, whether the NFL ever bounces back or not. An important lesson is being learned by these out-of-control, selfish, spoiled millionaires...
Great move VP, Mike Pence....the NFL is dying, killed by the the idiot players themselves.
Yes. I recognize Anderson Cooper in the back
You mean "rural Americans"? Granted there are more blacks being "placated" in cities than whites in the suburbs. But the placation started with socialist and cryptocommunist activism. That's the enemy, not blacks.
Crikey.
Why does *45* have to appear to take credit for it? I would have made everyone think it was the sound decision of the VP and FLOTUS2.
[Sorry Mr. President. I love most of what you do.]
The difference between the 49ers and the Broadway cast of “Hamilton” is that the football team has fewer sodomists.
Why did he go in the first place?
Nice! Finally a presidential administration that stands up for America, literally!
Roger was a military man
