Modern humanity sucks.
Bravo to Pence.
Fans should have followed him out the gate too.
Awesome!
Brilliant juxtaposition.
Yes, Obama inspired the kneeling.
The game has changed for me. I used to watch every weekend, holiday, etc
but for the last 10 years or so I don’t know that I’ve watch a game.
Jim Brown came out against the kneeling.
Perhaps he went to make his opinion known.
Some how I don’t think Roger Staubach would engage in this un patriotic bs.
Yes, they did. So who now has egg on their face - Pence, or the players?
Peak football has already occured - players salaries will trend down starting next year. College attendance has gone down every year for the last five. HS football participation is down in 41 states ... they picked the wrong time to start this crap ...
“”Perhaps he went to make his opinion known””.

September 28, 2017 — Vice President Pence Blasts NFL Protesters: Its About Patriotism

Perhaps he feels the need to continue making statements.
Yes, they did. So who now has egg on their face - Pence, or the players?
That seems to imply if they didn't protest, Pence would have egg on his face. Btw, no doubt those who protested and got Pence to leave, felt they won too.
I was so livid when I saw them do that with Vice President Pence there. It's the ultimate disrespect for everything we stand for. It's all kinds of crazy going on since they are allowing the BLM lies to go forward in these protests. Despite having their own rules of conduct they could enforce.
At this point it has to be, being done on purpose. With advisors like former Bill Clinton aide, Joe Lockhart there, it has to be on purpose this agitation they are bringing to the American people.
I say bring it! They won't like how it ends though with so many Americans walking away from the NFL. I'll push for another pro league. Let the free market decide. And on that note, it's time we start pushing our congress critters to take away the NFL's anti-monopoly status since these owners are allowing the NFL to be turned in to a political machine. These owners are not above economic and other consequences.

So do I. I thought that this morning when saw the thread here on FR under the name of How two Las Vegas wrongs do not take away a right expecting to find an article about the shooting in Vegas but it was none other than the "Weekly NFL thread" - how deceitful - with the comment by Bender 2 that reads:
"Certain folks who hate the NFL do not care that we on these NFL LIVE THREADS do not praise any of the protestors nor ask any one to not boycott watching the games. Just because we want to weekly pick who will win and who will lose, we are to blame..So, I will still continue to post the NFL LIVE THREAD as long as I can because I have a right to--"
I guess being in the know about the NFL is more important than standing on principle for the good old USA and the flag.
Fans, including VP Pence, were at this particular game to honor Peyton Manning. There was a statue honoring Manning unveiled yesterday and then his jersey was to be retired at half time today. Peyton, one of the good guys, is much loved by Hoosiers. Too bad the so-called “protest” could not be set aside for one single game. That being said, it would have been nice to see fans leave following the half time ceremony.
owners call
For those of us who see the bigger picture realize that this the one of the paths to depriving them of the ticket sale in the first place.
Many cannot grasp that.
