The portrait is of a normal, really smart and practically-accomplished guy who went haywire for some unknown reason. His brain needs to be preserved and examined to diagnose the disorder that led to this, and hopefully treat it in future patients.

Why is the brother still running his mouth?
Why does he give all these deeply personal interviews outside on the front lawn, most likely with neighbors staring at the commotion?
I’m going to venture an answer to my own questions;
Maybe he wants to spread misinformation early in the investigation. Why spread misinformation? That’s a good question, one that I leave for the experts.

To me it’s the portrait of greedy creepy selfish people. Steve was great because he gave us money.

He gambled for 20-plus years, successfully. Its like a job to him. He did it mathematically."
It sounds like a cover story that the younger brother believed ...
I doubt anyone beats the house casinos by that much consistently for 20-plus years, successfully.

You can’t make money gambling against a machine. The odds are consistently against you. If he was using machines to the extent they’re talking about, he was laundering money.

Here is a twitter source who knew and said Paul Manafort was under surveillance LONG before any media outfit reported same.
His sources are good, as is his track-record:
https://twitter.com/search?q=James%20B%20Scooping&src=typd
He has a number of points:
1. A male was in the room with Paddock. He left right before the shooting began.
2. The motive for the shooting was absolutely political. If the film is released, that political motive will be clear and “will absolutely change many things going forward”.
3. If the film of the shooting is not released, that non-release decision will be a fear on the part of the authorities that such release would trigger action by OTHER CELLS.
4. Paddock did plan to escape but that was cut short by the rapid response of the unarmed casino security guy.
5. Paddock mentions in the film being part of a NETWORK but does not specify if that network is AntiFa, or ISIS or any others.
6. A secret digital online profile of Paddock was uncovered about 24 hours ago.

He made us wealthy. He was a very successful person. He gambled for 20-plus years, successfully. Its like a job to him. He did it mathematically." I just saw the Tom Cruise movie "American Made" this last Saturday. I'm suspecting Private Pilot Stephen Paddock made his money the same way Tom Cruise did in that movie.
I'm beginning to suspect his gambling was just a front to launder money. I don't see the Casinos tolerating someone who is continuously winning money from them. "Losing" they will tolerate forever, but "Winning"? No. They will start looking at this guy with great scrutiny if he has been winning for 20 years.

Yeah, we bumpkins get all weird about 58 or 59 senseless deaths of innocent people and 500+ innocent people injured.
Pardon our trouble on processing it all.

The brother reminds me of Dennis Hopper going on about Colonel Kurtz.
I almost wonder if Paddock hadn’t built up a little cult of personality around himself. He was Mr. Cool Mysterious Ultracompetence and they were his admirers. Then maybe he screwed up and got himself into debt or something, but rather than admit it and be brought down to earth in their eyes, he decided to go out in a blaze as some kind of nihilistic mastermind.
To: Zhang Fei
Paddock remembered his brother as a man who used his money to take care of his family financially. "He helped make me and my family wealthy. I mean, hes the reason I was able to retire three years ago when I got really burned out doing the job I did," Eric Paddock said. This is the same brother that said before that he had not talked to his brother for ten years.
But he helped him retire three years ago. Didnt talk to him though.

His brain needs to be preserved and examined to diagnose the disorder that led to this, and hopefully treat it in future patients. I suppose that they could scrape it off the wall of the hotel room and sponge it out of the carpet.
