NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Las Vegas Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said on Wednesday night the man responsible for the largest mass-shooting in America's history was also heavily armed with explosive chemicals. Sheriff Lombardo stated Stephen Paddock, responsible for the deaths of 58 people and over 480 injured during Sunday night's Las Vegas shooting, also had large amounts of ammonium nitrate and tannerite in his vehicle outside the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
two part mixed explosive for target practicing. wont explode until thoroughly mixed together, requires hard kinetic impact to detonate.
Cab driver was recording from inside the cab while driving around, so I wouldn’t expect the sound levels to be very consistent.
Arrest the family. They know more, whether he converted to Islan, or his girlfriend was blackmailed by Filipino ISIS, or he just wanted to kill for pleasure. He could have been even setup by others to be the fall guy. Middle aged, rich, and white. Perfect patsy.
10 Al + 5 NH4NO3 = 5 N2 + H20 + 5 Al2O3 + energy
no hydrocarbon needed
Yep, that’s true.
We’ll see. I’m not convinced of anything yet. Just hesitate at some spots, notice something doesn’t sit right...try to learn more.
I’m certainly no expert. Just know how we used it to maximum effect in the military.
Question remains and I’ve yet to hear:
Where was security overwatch for an open aired event?
Parades, marathons, etc in any major city all have security overwatch, here we have major city, transient city, prime terrorist target for tourism, has open air concert, not in a venue, with thousands of people outside. Where’s the guys with binos and counter snipers? It’s not brain surgery to watch all elevated positions for an attack.
Ground to usually the 8th floor
My son was infantry in in Iraq and told me same thing. He says one would not believe the ways sounds of various firearms can get distorted and fool the hearing.
her car - valet parking no less so there’d definitely be a record.
If he was protecting Danley he sure was doing a lousy job of it. He’s written her name all over his body so to speak.
You would have a better chance of igniting the Jet fuel.
Someone who is better at math and knows the thermal outputs can tell you , fer sher. Tannerite has a very quick boom, but it aint $hit compared to ANFO. That could have made a BOOM.
I would have been looking for the AVGAS tanks but I’m not a terrorist like that.
thanks. i am no expert in any of this myself. if you have knowledge/training that something like tannerite could be used as a detonator for a more powerful explosive, then i would think that that would be relevant to this discussion.
Heh heh, well said LC!
I think the louder sounding shots at the first of the Taxi video is of a .308 weapon (AR-10 or FN-FAL type) pointed at the down angle so the sound would only be about 300-325 ft straight above her and that caliber of round is much more powerful than the AR-15 (.223 caliber) rounds he was also firing. He had some very high end guns with fancy flash suppressors and if the .308 gun had a muzzle break, with all the other echo surfaces around.......
Unless an accomplice had access to a window that opened and closed, alls we have is 2 busted windows on the 32nd floor. No other remnants of weapons fire from any other locations (yet).
Coulda been.
It explains the other window being broken out. But unless those tanks held regular av fuel they would not have exploded. Jet (I fueled commercial aviation) would not unless the bullets were some type of explosive round.
Then again, maybe those tanks were empty.
It’s hard to even get gasoline to ignite. You need something incendiary like a tracer. Regular lead will just poke holes and dump fuel on the ground.
Needed FMJAPIT rounds for maximum bang bang.
Ever hear of Wounded Knee?
