NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Las Vegas Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said on Wednesday night the man responsible for the largest mass-shooting in America's history was also heavily armed with explosive chemicals. Sheriff Lombardo stated Stephen Paddock, responsible for the deaths of 58 people and over 480 injured during Sunday night's Las Vegas shooting, also had large amounts of ammonium nitrate and tannerite in his vehicle outside the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Big news tonight though was the Sheriff of LV saying he had help and the attack was part of a larger conspiracy. Said Paddock had an escape plan.
A retired LV officer said that the brother made ‘misstatements’ to police that he hadn’t been in contact with his brother.
I am going to need a FReeper to explain Tannerite.
This is more concerning. I have been saying I thought this was a botched “tiered” attack. I believe there was a shooter around 6th floor to distract police . . . however, now with this evidence, perhaps 4th-6th floor shooter had another target and failed, and Paddock, from a longer range with a smaller caliber weapon, had to try.
Again, I go back to the disputed “muzzle flash” on the 4th-6th floor. On the video you can hear (I think) two distinctive weapons going off, sometimes simultaneously, one close (i.e. 4th-6th floor) and one in the distance (32nd floor). What if one shooter was supposed to drive the crowd toward the fuel tanks?
That brother sure is interesting..
How does the other shooter shoot through windows without breaking glass?
I think you may be on to something, but whatever you do, don’t mention any alternate theories to Thomas Wictor.

two chemicals shipped together, when mixed, form an explosive that can only be set off by a high velocity (ie rifle) bullet.
i imagine it could be used as a detonator for larger explosions but someone more familiar with explosives could probably elaborate. for detonators, one has to be concerned about geometry, hydrodynamic forces, etc.
At the 8 second mark, look at the man in the crowd firing on the people. I read he was wearing a security guard uniform.

Yeah but silencers! < /Nana Hillary was almost President >
Tannerite makes targets that can be touched off with .22 rimfire.
More to this story yet to come....stay tuned.

They showed footage of him the first day, what looked like outside his house, and it really looked like he was overselling his shock. I can’t imagine what I’d feel immediately after learning my own brother had done something like this, so I’m not saying he looked guilty, but more that whatever he was feeling, I got the impression he was trying to show what he imagined people would expect him to feel.
I heard the LVPD news conference where the list of explosive chemicals were given.
They’re far cry and hard work from being turned into something useable.
I had that same feeling. He was overacting.
Tannerite explodes when hit by a fast moving bullet. Useful for marksmen trying to see whether or not they hit a target hundreds of yards away...and useful for people who like to play with explosives and make youtube videos.
Tannerite is a binary exploding target system.
"Binary" means that there are two components, each of which is nonreactive by themselves, that when they're combined, become explosive. Since each component is safe by itself, the components are not considered explosives by the government and are not controlled (like dynamite or C4).
In this case, when mixed together, the components are explosive, but they require a high-velocity impact (such as a bullet) to cause them to explode.
