Congressional Democrats chose not to wait for all the facts to come in before immediately pushing for increased gun control measures following the Las Vegas shooting Sunday night that left 50 people dead and more than 400 injured.
It’s not yet clear how the shooter, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, acquired his guns or if gun control measures could have prevented him from obtaining them, but leading Democrats are already demanding stricter gun control legislation.

You’d think they would at least wait wait to find out what guns he had and how he acquired them, but the facts may only confuse their message.
There are two reasons the rats and the media are focusing on gun control in response to this mass murder, and both of those reasons are very big, and they are both equally big:
1. They really do hate American freedoms and the freedom to own guns sticks in their craw the most and they will use any crisis and any opportunity to attack gun ownership.
2. They fear that this guy is a leftist and that when his leftism comes out the connection to democrap/media anti-Trump propaganda will be so obvious and so bad for them that they have to honk loudly about gun control to divert attention from the core truth of this story.

And what will the gun contollers do when we refuse to give up our guns?

The answer to the 2nd point is <>NO<> and the answer to the 1st is, he probably acquired them the same way all gun owners do if they’re not gang members or criminals..he bought them. Unless all reports are wrong, he had the financial ability to do so.
Stricter gun control is a dog whistle (using the favorite phrase of the Left) is just their way of saying all guns need to be banned.
Sometimes they use the code words "gun safety" to mean the same thing...get rid of guns completely.
This is never going to happen in the US. Americans own more guns than most of the standing armies in the world.

On October 1, 2017, 99.999999999% of gun owners did not participate in a massacre. But, because of the one, we will suffer additional attempts to curb our rights and destroy freedom in the US. How short our memory that Japan never considered invading the United States because of the high numbers of gun owners or that the right to gun ownership was written into our DNA to fight oppressive government.
To expect anything different from them would be idiocy.

Years go there were several murders in several cities, no guns involved. The Democrats immediately called for “more gun control” to prevent such things in the future.
“give up your guns so we can shoot you.”
Reminds me of a scene from VIVA ZAPATA in which the peasants are encouraged to give up their guns.
Then the army attacks the unarmed peasants.
Tell the Dems that there can’t be any talks about gun control until a wall is built and the border is totally secure.

But remember, thanks to the 1968 Gun Control Act signed by Dem LBJ, Americans lost most of their rights to purchase firearms across state lines, and had to register when they bought both guns and ammo.
Reagan attempted to reform this with the 1986 revision. The machine gun ban was thrown in by the democrats as a “poison pill” to kill the bill. It didn’t.
