CBS Corp. fired a vice president in business affairs Monday for comments she made on social media regarding the mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas. Hayley Geftman-Gold, wrote on her Facebook page that she was not sympathetic to victims of the shooting because, she claimed, most country music fans are Republican. Geftman-Gold also wrote: If they wouldnt do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing. Im actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.

#75. Of course Hillary being corrupt and fired from the Watergate Committee made her a natural candidate later on to run for the presidency of the United States.
You see, son, you’ve got to have the qualifications of the devil, a skunk and Al Capone to be a Democrat leader. Hillary has them all. That’s my girl, cha-cha-cha!
Totally agree !!
How sad that you would like to see your friends and neighbors drown.
Another article on this subject:
CBS fires VP for writing Republican gun toters killed in Las Vegas dont deserve sympathy
And where will she land... NPR? PBS? The DNC? The SPLC? The View?
I know, right?
Wow. For once CBS actually does something I agree with.
I'm still wondering what is different about a "deeply unacceptable" post as opposed to a "merely unacceptable" one.
It's deeply, deeply troubling.
Deeply.
Soon to have her own show on CNN.
Funny how Liberals think:
Getting killed with a bullet from a gun counts-—
But getting sucked out of a uterus does NOT count.....
I have no sympathy for this ‘woman’. I hope she likes her next job—cleaning rooms in Las Vegas would sound just about right.
Hey! I said Only the upper east side!!!!!!
What the hell does “deeply unacceptable” mean? This doesn’t rise to the level of “vile,” “disgusting,” “revolting,” or anything on this list? http://www.thesaurus.com/browse/vile?s=t
I think it’s pretty obvious what it means. They actually probably all, consciously or subconsciously, agree with her statement. The media is no less leftist than academia, and we’ve already seen what some of the latter have to say. “Deeply unacceptable” is basically “Well, you said something SO BLATANT, we can’t even attempt to cover for you, so you’re gone to try to protect our reputation.”
Deeply troubling means it got far too much publicity; letting the mask slip just a wee bit too much; showing what CBS liberals really think and discuss.
So she had to go. Maybe they’ll rehire her in some other job. Or put her right back like SNL did with its tool
Spot on CORRECT! Either that or rehired in another more obscure position.
I am a deplorable who has to work two jobs to survive. My second job is catering to and serving the one percenters at a beachside enclave. Last weekend they had a wedding event for a girl just like this. Lived on the upper east side financial sector money money money. The one thing I was struck by was the reaction of at least some of the guests to us deplorables. Many of them, mostly the old ones, took time to thank us, be polite and note how hard we were working.I think on some level some of them recognize the trump effect. Hope so.
I know people like that woman too.
They do not realize that their soul has become rotten and twisted. Their self-importance is like an addiction to booze or drugs....they need more and more of it to get the same kick. And it never ends well.
A person's worth is not what they have in the market or in their electronic bank account that is based on thin air.
You my friend, hand in there.

Like this means a damn thing. Before the press release went out, the front office was on the phone with another network finding her a job. She’ll go on vacation for a couple of months with full pay and quietly surface over there, that’s how these things roll. She didn’t say anything bad, she just had bad timing and wasn’t selective enough with her audience—that’s also how they roll.
I just watch Independence Day, not the sequel, or Day After Tommorrow, for a good fix of that.
