This is the first image of the suspected gunman who killed at least 50 people when he opened fire at a music festival in Las Vegas.
Stephen Paddock has been named as the shooter who shot dead crowds of revellers at a country music event on the city's world famous strip.
As well as the 50 people confirmed dead, over 200 others are injured after the gunman opened fire on music festival revellers.
Crowds were enjoying the Route 91 Harvest country music festival when the shooter reportedly started spraying bullets from a hotel balcony.
As terrified revellers fled for their lives, officials received reports of an "active" gunman and patrol vehicles descended on the popular US Strip.
Some officers were seen taking cover behind their vehicles, while others carrying assault rifles ran into the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) later confirmed that one suspect was dead and that he is believed to have acted alone.

He will remain dead until the next election, at which time he will arise and vote, and vote, and vote some more.
I’m getting information that the wife has ties to an Antifa group in Ardsley, NY that has been advocating turning the US into egalitarian society. Basically starting over again. This particular Antifa group sources have shared with me is particular radical. When I know more I’ll post
I wonder how a person could get 8 rifles through the lobby up to a room.
My guess: if this was no inside job, then he could’ve easily snuck each rifle one at a time in a zippered-up travel golf-club case. He was there for several days, so he could’ve done it over several trips between his car to the suite.
One gun
check
Now they are saying a whole room full of guns, eight I believe is the number, we have been told.
Your point still holds, this is even better, for propaganda purposes. "He had an arsenal! Who needs an arsenal?
Who benefits? Just keep asking the question until you can answer it.
Yep!
Referring to the entire thread just not an individual comment
The post was about someone in the audience with a pistol a few hundred yards away from the shooter stopping the shooter laying prone in a hotel room. Nobody in the audience on the ground could have determined where the shots were coming from. Nobody said anything about a gunfight in a hotel room.
Thanks for the information. Wouldn’t doubt that these two, or however many of them there might be are either leftists or islamists. They could also just be nutjobs. Either way.... It’ll take time to sort out.
From memory, there were three photos. One in AZ orange prison garb. He was a much younger looking guy (40’s), with a full head of straight brown/black hair, mustache, angular nose, possibly Euro-Hispanic or Italian ancestry. His skin was much darker than the current perp. photos and the eyes were brown.
Hmm.
The one they have ID’d as the Mandalay shooter looks just like his brother in Orlando.
Give a large suitcase or two to the valet. Easy.
Link? Thanks.
President speech was moving. brought tears.

Ditto.
I have a lot of problems with the media, but the shooter alone is responsible for their actions.
==============================================================
The shooter is clearly primarily responsible. However, he's not necessarily the only one responsible.
Accomplice
One who knowingly, voluntarily, and with common intent unites with the principal offender in the commission of a crime. One who is in some way concerned or associated in commission of crime; partaker of guilt; one who aids or assists, or is an Accessory. One who is guilty of complicity in crime charged, either by being present and aiding or abetting in it, or having advised and encouraged it, though absent from place when it was committed, though mere presence.
Accessory
Aiding or contributing in a secondary way or assisting in or contributing to as a subordinate. In Criminal Law, contributing to or aiding in the commission of a crime. One who, without being present at the commission of an offense, becomes guilty of such offense, not as a chief actor, but as a participant, as by command, advice, instigation, or concealment; either before or after the fact or commission. One who aids, abets, commands, or counsels another in the commission of a crime.
While we’re at it, this Stephen Paddock (child molester) looks like he could be his son:

Allegedly, he was staying at the hotel since Sept 28th. That gave him 3 - 4 days to carry stuff up to his room on a casual basis that wouldn't necessarily cause suspicion.
Keeping the cleaning personnel out during that time probably cause him concern, although it's vegas and hanging a 'do no disturb' card on the door for multiple days wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary.
The two are close enough in age that I doubt it. The younger is 48, almost 49, the shooter one is what? 64? So only 15-16 years.
No I did not. I said she was formally married to a left wing activist, which she was.
No problem. I share your frustration.
as per the report, the shooter knew he was vulnerable and so had a camera to observe the hall. He was smart enough to know the game was over once they were onto his location.
This has nothing to do with weapons - and everything to do with tactics.
My point is the assumption that rifle (or auto rifle) always beats pistol is dead wrong.
