At the link posted in #360, it sounded tome like not more than fifty rnd string. It didn't seem all that "slow" to me either.

The mandalay bay is southwest of the concert site, so the shooter was shooting northeast into the crowd. The shooter did not have the angle to hit any one on the stage, which faces away from mandalay bay.

Agreed. After the stage front area clears out, most of the kneeling groups (treating victims?) are closer to the stage. It doesn’t take a tactical genius to know where and when to find a crowd at a concert. I’m not getting testy with you..just feelin it, ok?

I slowed down a couple of these clips in Quicktime - it had a cyclic rate of about 600 and there was at least one burst where I just stopped counting after 60 rounds. It sounded like something .30 cal or so.

There was also either echoes or a lighter caliber weapon firing short bursts overlaying at least one of the larger gun’s bursts. Could be a second shooter, could be security forces shooting back.

Some saying....solo shooter. 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay. Smashed out his window and fired on the concert crowd below LVMPD immediately counter-attacked and put the shooter down in his room. Situation contained. There are no other suspects and there were no other shots fired, elsewhere on the Strip
