GREEN BAY, Wis. -- On Thursday night, Green Bay Packers players say they will be linking arms in unity during the national anthem just like they did at Sunday's game. And quarterback Aaron Rodgers hopes fans will do the same.
"This is about equality. This is about unity and starting a conversation around something that maybe a little uncomfortable for some people," Rodgers said.
Packers fan Meghan Kempen is not a fan of the protests.

I never heard of a football game rain delay. The nation is definitely getting soft.
Rodgers said it’s about love. Sickening.
Lightning delay.
The Lord is not pleased.
Vince Lombardi would be so proud. /s
ooh ok, well lightning in the area, I have definitely known delays for that, wisely! Although with a stadium already full of people there is nothing that can be done to protect most of the fans at that point....
Wrong answer Packers. It’s not about you, unity for whatever cause you think you’re supporting, it’s not about racism, BLM, etc.
It’s about showing respect for our country and flag. If you choose not to do so - you’re continuing to disrespect it.
I’m not buying what they’re selling.

They want to “make me feel a little uncomfortable”. What does that mean? They want me to sweat, nervously in bed at night? Live in fear during the day? Why did I do for them to want impose that punishment on me? This is getting crazy
SOUTH PARK did an episode about it.

Normally, I would be watching this game.
United States Code, 36 U.S.C. § 301, states that during a rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart; Members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present and not in uniform may render the military salute; men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note; and when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed. Military law requires all vehicles on the installation to stop when the song is played and all individuals outside to stand at attention and face the direction of the music and either salute, in uniform, or place the right hand over the heart, if out of uniform. A law passed in 2008 allows military veterans to salute out of uniform, as well.
Thanks for the video. I meant to tune in for the anthem to see what happened. Missed it, they were already playing so turned it off.
Based on Rodgers and the rest,,,,they can KMA for all eternity.
Bye Bye Packers!
Used to like to watch Favre play. He was fun. The good old days.
I am sure my husband will still watch, well he probably will,,,but I could care less about The Packers as of tonight.
We Cheeseheads are the best fans in the world and The Packers gave us the finger tonight.
wow, really??!! I had no idea so many people could fit inside a stadium underneath.... it always seems so crowded around the concessions even when most fans are in their seats. Or did most go back to their cars??
“The Lord is not pleased.”
Doesn’t he know the advertising dollars LOST by the NFL due to His interference?
*SMIRK*
Looks CGI.
Green Bay had been my favorite team for a long long time. I’m done with all of nfl.
“We Cheeseheads are the best fans in the world and The Packers gave us the finger tonight.”
Thank you! I couldn’t have said it better, myself.
What ‘equality’ are you talking about?
So a handful of scumbags in the stands kaepernicked with the thugs in The BLM/NFL the liars at FNN are saying lots of fNs jokned in. The thugs might think they are fooling us but...
Hey there! I didn’t know what a liberal putz Rodgers was until recently. Last time I loved to watch the Packers was during the Favre years. Then he retired and I cried with him, then he unretired and was like the worst boyfriend ever by unretiring to The Jets, then hit rock bottom by going to the VIKINGS!!! of all places. I held a grudge of course,,,,until I saw him at a ceremony, was it last year? don’t know...but he charmed me with his humbleness and tears again.
I can’t believe The Packers, who know they have the best fans in the whole universe, would do this to us, and to America.
