Army Ranger Says He ‘Made a Mistake’ Standing For National Anthem Without His Team

Former Army Ranger Alejandro Villanueva was the ONLY Steeler to come out for the National Anthem on Sunday. He stood in the tunnel while the rest of the team hid in the locker room like disrespectful cowards. Villanueva stood with his hand over his heart and sang along with pride during the National Anthem.

The 28-year-old former Army Ranger is a bronze star recipient and served three tours in Afghanistan.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he noticed Villanueva during a preseason game because of the way he stood during the National Anthem, according to an article in NFL.com.

Imagine being Villanueva. He fought for this country and then has to play side by side with teammates who blatantly disrespect his service and the flag.

Wow! Never thought I would see the day.

The Entertainment industry is clearly captured by the Globalists. Disgusted and will never watch the NFL again. Oh and I am boycotting any company associated with the NFL.

As far as I am concerned they are Anti-American. The Cowboys gave America the middle finger last night. It was disgusting.

Your team ain’t sh*t and in the end are only going to be a small part of your life. Players move around, and NFL careers are shorter than other sports. So best you stand up for your believes and dignity because they’ll be around longer than that team.

Sad someone got to this man. So much for FREEDOM SPEECH!
Which we all knew was a big fat lie. We know how the left hates freedom of speech and thought if they don’t agree with it. They even promote using VIOLENCE against peaceful speech and peaceful protests.

They are the ultimate fakers.

Never saw a Ranger back down while his brothers in arms die for freedom. Now I have. Cash before Creed.

He doesn’t want to be a poster boy. 70% of the NFL is black and they all hate him now.

Team unity is a big thing in sports.

He broke with the team, and I would bet he was given a rather stark choice of leaving the NFL for good or saying he was sorry.

Funny, you can hit your girlfriend, rape, and kill someone yet stand for an anthem and be torn apart.

Kind of makes you think doesn’t it.

He was obviously ordered and/or pressured to apologise for standing for the anthem.

My guess is that the team will make his life miserable and make an example of him.

Yeah, but Villaneuva didn’t have to say his standing for the pledge “was a mistake without his teammates”. This is the kind of thing that a confused and low-class individual says....oh....and don’t cite me his 3 tours in Afghanistan....it’s no excuse.

The dissention on the team should tear them apart. Time to fire the coach.

Also time for the vets to start proclaiming that the kneelers are disrespecting them by disrespecting the symbol of their unity.

Time for 100% cotton flags if the cotton is a symbol of slavery! !!

If he doesn’t stand next week as an army officer (military officers are subject to UCMJ laws until age 60) he could be stripped of his rank. His regretting to put country over his place of business shows he has little understanding of the oath he took to support and defend our nation.

Yeah, his shame is ill placed, because this fake whiney grassroot with zero kneeling player wuitting but all demanding they be kept in for money like Kaepernik are demanding a coup, an Affirmative Action coup on the presidency.

This is Obama bull sht right there. “Dont criticize, dont boycott me, only I have a holy consciousness... “ etc...

Bunch of ghetto trash begging whores.

Army Ranger Alejandro Villanueva’s press conference reminded me of an ISIS victim “repenting” before his execution.

The NFL shamed a grown man into apologizing for doing the right thing. The NFL out-crapped Trump’s SOB comment, but the media will never report it that way.
