I couldn’t have been more disappointed when I saw that on the news last night :(
So, he made “a mistake”?
Big parts of our culture are “a mistake”.
The fawning adulation of pro sports people, for instance.
I can’t wait for the Great Cleansing. It is overdue.
Apparently there was a DEFCON 1 spin control meeting at Art Rooney’s office yesterday. The plan was apparently to have Roethlisberger and Cam Heyward come out and say the team won’t do this again, and then to have Villanueva start backing away too. Not gonna work.
Also Villanueva has an endorsement deal with USAA. They probably got in his ear after getting ten thousand phone calls yesterday.
Still, sad that money and peer pressure can trump patriotism.
