As the Cardinals were introduced, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, as well as executive vice presidents Stephen Jones, Charlotte Anderson and Jerry Jones Jr., stood locked arm in arm with the players, coaches and staff.
Before a giant American flag was unfurled that covered almost the entire field, the Cowboys took a knee briefly as a group, including Jerry Jones, which led to a smattering of boos from the crowd that included a large number of Dallas fans.
During the national anthem, the Cowboys stood locked arm in arm but nobody took a knee or appeared to have any sign of silent protest.

He’s probably just removing the entitlement from the law, so that league offices wouldn’t have the option.
Questionable legally, as leagues are ‘trade associations’ like any other organization that promotes for-profit business sectors, from the National Association of Manufacturers to the American Soybean Association.
It is the league office that gave up its status in 2015, mainly to hide how much money league execs make. MLB league office quit claiming exempt status in 2007 for the same reason.
If this is true, then what is Rep. Gaetz talking about, and why is he the lead sponsor of a bill to do what has already been done? That doesn’t make sense to me.

Wouldn’t the League Office be where the players got paid from, and all accounting and paying taxes be done?
My point was that Constitution allows peaceful protest, and doesn’t determine where that happens. AND during Anthem is NOT acceptable, so if they ‘taketheknee’ before without violence, then so be it. I don’t agree, but I do think our Founding Fathers intended for protest NOT to insult those who gave their lives for the right to do so!
Jones did insist that all players be on the field standing for National Anthem, which I think showed at least respect for flag/anthem....making protest stand alone.
This is a protest against whitey, plain and simple.

Last year we were shopping for two high-end laptops at Best Buy. The pony-tailed sales guy made a couple of conservative bashing statements, and we walked. He lost a big sale. If only he’d kept his fat mouth shut. Maybe BB has no problem with that, and think that their employees’ free speech is on company time is more important than revenue.
How does refusing to subsidize their protest equate to "violating" their right to protest? You are mistaking liberty with license, FRiend.
