Of the 16 teams that that stood for the Anthem Sunday, 10 won.
Of the 6 teams that stood who lost, 5 played against teams that also stood
Only 1 team that stood (Houston) lost against a team that knelt (New England), and by only three points. That game was much closer than it should have been.
New England is the only kneeling or absent team that won against a standing opponent.
I have heard nothing more than the word “solidarity” tossed around. Can anyone explain exactly what the overpaid jerks are standing in solidarity for??
Players have 6 days and 21 hours every week to show how much they care about the poor by actually funding programs with some of their exorbitant salaries. I guess it’s cheaper to show disrespect toward our national emblem and our national anthem.

Another less known fact about Vietnam War is that numbers cruncher in the Army, who said we could outright win that war was WRONG. Before going to war, a President and Congress will have a person determine facts, who understands the odds against USA, and how likely they are to win!
Sam Adams was a number cruncher for CIA, and tried to contact President Admin several times to warn them that it was an unwinnable war!20-1 seems about right, and winnable was 10-1 with our military capabilities. I don’t remember much about odds, but They chose to go with the Army numbers, and our losses were so extreme because of that!
Another mistake was so many men left alone on plane for
1 yr rotations, which we learned were to blame for so much PTSD, as WWII soldiers went as battalion and came home on a ship same way! With time to heal and help one another!

The NFL and MLB gave up their tax exempt status. Pointless grandstanding doesn’t help.
Ending stadium exemptions and subsidies would actually hurt, but that would have to be done by local and state jurisdictions.
Ending anti-trust exemptions for pro sports would also hurt.

Hmmm, interesting. The article is dated 2015. I wonder to what Rep. Gaetz is referring with his new legislation.
Further info: The article I read and linked to said although the individual teams are not tax-exempt, the NFL League Office is tax exempt.
