Even in this “participation medal” military we have these days, the Army doesn’t hand out the Bronze Star with combat V to every joe who shows up... he paid the ‘entry fee’ to get that, let alone the second award.
Sadly, the leftists in the Steelers, especially the one running the Steelers, will end up punishing him for his actions and may end up killing his football career... but I suspect he thinks that it’s worth it to hold up his oath and creed.
I bet not one Steeler told him to his face not to go out or disrespected him.

I also believe he gave some thought to being the lone player to stand and he chose to be the patriot that he is and do the right thing.
This starts an interesting train of thought, Spktyr...his fellow team members may not give him the protection he needs on certain plays or figure out some other way to harm or impede him during a game just to get back at him for not being "in solidarity" with them.
Have the spineless commissioner and owners thought of how letting the radical players continue their activism unchecked may split the teams into hateful and resentful "sides", no longer working as cohesive teams?
This whole "anthem" thing may spin out of control and cause so many bad effects that I don't even want to think about it.....it could become so harmful, chaotic, crazy and ruinous.
