NBA star Stephen Curry was dis-invited from the White House on Saturday by President Trump.

Curry, a Golden State Warriors guard and two-time NBA MVP, said Friday he would vote against the team visiting Trump's White House to celebrate the team’s 2017 championship.

That was enough for Trump to decide against inviting him.

"Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!" the chief executive tweeted at 8:45 a.m.

quote-So what, pray tell, is Trump’s “nickname” for Curry? I can think of a few, but none of them that would not get me banned here.

No clue, but if he wants to give him a nickname, he will!
and whether we hear about it or not, is probably along the same lines of your comment :)

Has the whole team been uninvited or just Curry?

Hmmm...NORK h-bomb. NBA champs. NORK h-bomb. NBA champs. Where should I spend my time and energy? This is a tough one.

Of course, with Obastard in the WH, it was a simple and fast decision.

Prissy bitches they don’t want to go but Trump beat them to the draw by rescinding invite before the little scumbags had a chance “get down with the struggle.” Ha ha F%^K You Steph and company. The White would have to be fumigated afterward anyway.

Hallelujah. The sooner this nonsense can end, the better. These fools are sure full of themselves, as if their petulance is going to impact the WH somehow. NOBODY CARES! It’s a publicity-stunt ceremony. Nobody is impressed with your “threat” of not going but your own bloated egos, morons.

Part,of me agrees with you, but part says “this is a new world of communications.” He’s just leveraging the best comms tool of the day to communicate directly to the people on a daily basis.

This particular tweet reads like a simple factual WH press statement, too, which is good. I really like the way it was written: short, pithy, to the point, actions have consequences. Subrosa is “you hurt your team, buddy!”

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, thherefore invitation is withdrawn!”

Yes! Could not agree more. Sports stars AND celebrities. Together. Why should people who put balls in holes or pretend to be somebody else get any attention at all? When you listen to them talk off-job, almost all are vacuous poorly educated know-nothings and boobs who feel guilty about their success. To atone for their guilt, they want to tax all of USA straight to the poorhouse.

Good - Trump needs to quit inviting these idiots. All they care about is their 15 minutes of political fame and they make me sick. The White House and President don’t need to be disrespected by these ill-mannered and ignorant buffoons.

In these sports teams we have young men who grew up as spoiled child athletes trying on the mantle of dissidents and deprived thugs.

They have never worked, created or toiled for anything.

While some of GS is not the worst of pro athletes, they are still prima donnas in this instance.

Trump could teach Steph and wifey a thing or two about being “over-exposed”.

He slices , he dices, he leaps tall buildings ..

Oh wait.. Ayesha does the slicing and dicing..

Here's a creepy little note from a thread on this from our friends at The Conservative Treehouse:

For those of you with Twitter accounts, pay attention! This morning I got a tweet from a guy who plays for the Seattle Seahawks. Not a re-tweet or “like” just a tweet. I went to his page and it shows me following him.

There is NO way I ever followed this guy. I didn’t even know who he was until I checked. I have zero interest in pro sports and didn’t even follow anyone on my own city’s team.

So, I asked myself, has Twitter done something so that people who follow President Trump get these messages which are inserted by Twitter, trying to gin up the controversy more? The player in question wanted everyone to speak out about the President’s “divisive” comments.

This is really concerning to me. If they can manipulate this they can manipulate all sorts of things.

The NFL is dying, The NBA is next. These moron are killing the goose that lays their golden eggs. Poor souls do not have a clue how all African-Americans were screwed by their first Black POTUS, Their Congressional Black caucus, The NAACP and the Democrat Party!!!

The only person Barack Hussein Obama “the son of Muslim Kenyan Slaves and Sex Traffic Traders of East, Sub-Sahara Africa” ever helped was himself. Yes, folks the shining light city of Chicago and its massive, every day, minority murders is the real true legacy of Obama and company!!!

A formal invitation to the team had not yet been extended, and now it won’t, per an ESPN article. Dig around at my link to The Conservative Treehouse article a couple of posts up if you want to see the ESPN article itself.

Whichever President started the tradition of champion teams going to the white house was an idiot.

So many more worthy citizens to garner attention.

NBA players for the most part are grossly overpaid thugs with IQ’s slightly lower than rocks.
