NBA star Stephen Curry was dis-invited from the White House on Saturday by President Trump.
Curry, a Golden State Warriors guard and two-time NBA MVP, said Friday he would vote against the team visiting Trump's White House to celebrate the teams 2017 championship.
That was enough for Trump to decide against inviting him.
"Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!" the chief executive tweeted at 8:45 a.m.

What do you mean actions have consequences?
He and Kevin Durant are too big for their floppy britches. No team should have such obnoxious “stars.”
Its a photo op, not a damn endorsement you twit.
Besides, President Trump has more important things to do.....
Keep the trash out.
The funniest example was Sarah Palin giving a governor's pardon to her turkeys while others were being slaughtered on camera right behind her. Someone screwed up setting the background for the presentation.
Sports dont mean shit buddy. You just aint that important.
Someday the rest of the team can tell their grandchildren how this idiot cost them a visit to the White House and presidential recognition of their championship.
Curry seems to be dealing with guilt issues over his privileged upbringing and his private Christian prep school education.
In other words, Curry can go pee up a basketball pole.
Makes you wonder if the NBA will start to have problems like the NFL....with enough people in the stands or viewing via TV.
I do not spend money on obnoxious Prima Donn’s. He looks like a Wussie to me!
Hmmm... seems a little too petty and reactive for POTUS to bother with, IMHO. An honest and understandable reaction emotionally, but not all emotions and reactions must be Tweeted out for all the world.
Sooner or later, will there be POTUS Tweet fatigue among those of us who generally do support his policy positions and anti-unigovernment/anti-Swamp positions?
There is also a downside to letting one’s emotions and reactions be constantly geared to those of other random, insignificant people. In doing so, one cedes to others a measure of control over oneself.
Trump seems to be doing ‘rule 12’ for the rules for radicals..
and it seems he does it whether it’s North Korea or the NFL or the NBA.. or Hillary Clinton.
rule 12:
pick a target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it.
the NBA, NFL and employees of said orgs, are not ‘insignifant. neither is hollywood. or the media. or hillary clinton. they have tremendous influence and significance in this nation.
And Trump picking them out as targets, freezing them, personalizing it and polarizing it, is a strategy. or he gets it naturally.
either way, that rule seems to be one trump uses. it explains the nicknames too..
Under Armour came out in support of Trump, as they knew they had huge sales with his supporters. Curry squashed UA sales by calling Trump an A**.
Really!?!
“either way, that rule seems to be one trump uses. it explains the nicknames too..”
So what, pray tell, is Trump’s “nickname” for Curry? I can think of a few, but none of them that would not get me banned here.
I am not getting tired of it at all. I think the President handled this properly. I am sure there is something in the etiquette books about presuming invitations.
Trump is a fighter and winner.
