Robert Mueller’s sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball.
It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Mueller’s bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises — of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits — by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons.

Unfortunately, it seems to me more than just the left. The apparatchiks seem to be of all stripes.
BACKSTORY Through the last half of 2016, the Obama administration was desperately searching for evidence of some link between the Trump presidential campaign and Russia.
<><> They went to great lengths, falsifying requests, twice seeking, then finally obtaining, a court-ordered FISA, that allowed them to spy on at least one Trump associate.
<><> we now know that Obama's NSA advisor, Susan "The Sifter" Rice, had an operation wherein raw NSA intelligence was sifted through for names of Trump associates, in hopes of uncovering dirt of some sort. These efforts came up dry. The Obama administration found no compromising information about Trump or any of his associates.
<><> ever since the Trump Inauguration, the Democratic Party, especially its NY/DC press wing, has relentlessly pushed the Trump/Russia story. But that hasn’t stopped Democrat factotums in the press from talking about little else for the last three months.
<><>This is the kicker----- all along, the Democrats have known that their spying produced nothing.
This whole Obama/Comey/Mueller/Democrat spy apparat is almost unbelievably sordid. The relevant Congressional committees should investigate thoroughly, and criminal prosecutions should follow where laws have been broken.

Donald Trump will never let people screw with him, and he has a very long memory.
He has an awful lot of cards to play here. Since the stories about the NSA/CIA surveillance and unmasking first broke about nine months ago I have had a wild theory in my mind about what has been going on since then. I won't post it here because it's totally outlandish and flies in the face of all the "conventional wisdom" we've seen on the subject from conservative quarters. But I've been right on about 90% of the things I've speculated about this story since January, and the other 10% may simply be too difficult to confirm because of the nature of the process and the people involved.
One thing I'll leave out there is this: Robert Mueller is not operating from a position of strength. In fact, he is very much on the DEFENSIVE in many ways.
Those were interrogation lights....

The prospect of this happening here is horrific. Some people refer to us as the ‘USSA’. Maybe they’re right.
There is/was collusion among Mueller, Weasel Comey, RosenKrantz and The Swamp to get Trump.
They tell us everyday, if you watch and listen to a liberal, what they have done, what they are doing and what they are going to do...they have done it all...
And on the Sessions thing, it could be that man is quietly sitting back building a case that will take the whole of the Dem party down forever...ever think about that...yeah he's working on ‘immigration’ an important thing, but unless we are right there knowing what is going on, we don't know...that's the problem, quietly going around as business as usual and then one day the Government explodes...
If there are unlawful acts by Mueller, then he can justifiably be removed.
Which org’s agents/LEOs drew their weapons on the Manaforts, anyone know? Feebies, US Marshalls, Mueller private hires?
This story keeps gettjng repeated but what is the actual source of it? Has Manafort himself ever said this happened?
Mueller has effectively replaced the Attorney General. He has set up his own DOJ and is accountable to no one.
Is it standard procedure to draw weapons and to hold parties at gunpoint during this type of search?

I’m confused. Was Manafort trying to collect on contracts with Russian or Ukrainian businesses? Two different groups as the two countries are enemies.
Regardless, the Obama administration needed cover to surveil Trump both as a candidate and as President-elect. The solution was to get authorization from FISA court to surveil the communications of people around President Trump. That way they could surveil President Trump and say they weren’t. The information collected was then passed to the Clinton campaign, and the press.
President Trump was left with the thought that Manafort and whoever else on his staff, being tapped by the Obama administration, were leakers.
Obama, Rice, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, the Clintons, Powers, and Brennen need to be investigated. One wonders why Mueller isn’t questioning any of these criminals. Instead he keeps adding Hillary donor lawyers to his taxpayer paid staff. Mueller and his staff need to be fiedred and prosecuted for fraud, waste, and abuse.
The stooges,during the Nixon Admin, simply had the wrong approach.
