WASHINGTON — Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, has asked the White House for documents about some of President Trump’s most scrutinized actions since taking office, including the firing of his national security adviser and F.B.I. director, according to White House officials.
Mr. Mueller is also interested in an Oval Office meeting Mr. Trump had with Russian officials in which he said the dismissal of the F.B.I. director had relieved “great pressure” on him.
The document requests provide the most details to date about the breadth of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, and show that several aspects of his inquiry are focused squarely on Mr. Trump’s behavior in the White House.
In recent weeks, Mr. Mueller’s office sent a document to the White House that detailed 13 different areas that investigators want more information about. Since then, administration lawyers have been scouring White House emails and asking officials whether they have other documents or notes that may pertain to Mr. Mueller’s requests.
One of the requests is about a meeting Mr. Trump had in May with Russian officials in the Oval Office the day after James B. Comey, the F.B. I director, was fired. That day, Mr. Trump met with the Russian foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov, and the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey I. Kislyak, along with other Russian officials. The New York Times reported that in the meeting Mr. Trump said that firing Mr. Comey relieved “great pressure” on him.

someone should appoint a “SPECIAL COUNCIL” to investigate Obama /Comey/mueller/hillary in ILLEGAL search (wiretapping) with intent to meddle and tamper with the US election process, leading to conspiracy to overthrow a duly elected president. If Mueller was involved in getting the FISA warrant then he should do some time in prison

Getting into a huge fight with the Senate after he fires sessions then Mueller is exactly what we want. The Senate is very unpopular they will want to punish trump primaries will punish the Senate and election wedge remove uniparty incumbents... I LOVE the guy because of being here in NYC for 9/11, even though he’s not a true conservative. He is a good American.

Mueller has been evil since he was head honcho since 9/11. Look at every terrorist event and they’ve been on his watch list - 9/11, San Bernardino, Boston Bombers, Ft. Hood, etc. Yet, he’s taken no action to stop them. There’s no question which side he’s really on and it isn’t America’s.
Sessions should fire him, then resign. The new AG should then convene a special counsel that will look into Hillary and Debbie Shultz.
There must be photos of Sessions on Pedo Island. Nothing else makes sense.
Time to call it what it really is.

That is why “we” (I don’t know what to call “us,” people who choose to vote Republican) were stupid the past election to be rah rah for the R team. FReepers knew this, but so many talking heads so identify with the sports theme, and still say “us” for Republicans on the air. NO. THEY ARE NOT US.
We do need a new category (not necessarily a new party). We need to call ourselves something like Trumpists for clarity only. We aren’t slaves of the President’s personality. We are supporters of the Trump agenda as laid out in his campaign and current speeches.
If we could gain clarity by understand whom we support, we could let go of the attachment to the paid off whores in Congress or the admin who call themselves Republicans. They are surely not us.
Trump supporters were Palin supporters were tea partiers, it goes back a ways. Trump is just the latest and strongest manifestation. Should they manage to thwart him, there will be another, stronger still. There are more and different Trump supporters who came from even the Democrat side though, for whom borders and immigration all tie into jobs and a healthy domestic economy. Patriotic nationalists who want the interests of US citizens put first, as far as trade policy, treaties, border control, immigration as a whole, healtcare proposals and taxation, but the left is busily tainting the word nationalist. Creating a US Citizen’s Interest PAC would get pretty close, endorsing candidates of existing political parties, only running vetted, recruited candidates under the “USCI” banner when there are no viable existing candidates.
And that "someone" is none other then Jefferson Sessions III, who is sitting on his thumbs while Hillary's butt boy, Mueller, rips up the Constitution and tries to arrogate the power of the Presidency to himself.
He has NO business demanding policy decisions of the President, motivated by WHATEVER rationale the President and his advisers concur on.
The FBI and the DoJ do NOT rule the country. A Clinton police state is NOT part of the Constitution.
