We know, to the best of our senses and instruments, that the universe exists. How did it come into reality 13.8 billion years ago? In other words, what caused the Big Bang?
Roughly speaking, there are two possibilities: nothing caused the universe to come into being or something triggered it into existence.

Let there be light.
...
According to Asimov that would be correct and the answer to the last question.

Who created God?
Someone was going to ask, nobody is going to answer.
...
According to the New Testament, God’s father and Mary created God.

I think God would laugh at that one.

According to the New Testament, Gods father and Mary created God. You have either never read or never understood the New Testament. (It does not say that.)

Always existed implies at least on the dimension of time infinity and as finite humans we cannot really comprehend that. Therefore I think there is a bias for us to favour an actual beginning and eventual end to the universe. God can also be considered infinite so again our ability to comprehend that aspect is beyond us.

Now answer this question: why are all the galaxies, including our own, moving toward the exact same spot at millions of miles per second? Or what is the Great Attractor?

"If the trigger of the Big Bang was aseitically dynamic, it wouldve created an infinite number of universes before creating our universe."Probably did. This one will expand until it runs out of momentum, collapse down into nothingness again, and then it'll happen again, automatically. Forever in both directions, repetitive, automatic, and without any particular agency. I don't know why people have such a hard time with this.

What Caused the Universe to Come into Existence?
When I asked my 2nd grade teacher the same question, I got this answer, that today, is so politically incorrect, it would have caused her to be immediately fired.
Bless her Heart and Soul she said, "GOD was playing with his Home Chemistry Set."
I can imagine now, that this causes laughter at 'the Pearly Gate Cafe' over an endless cup of coffee, every time it's told.

What existed before the big bang? Couldn’t have been nothing unless the big bang came out of nothing.

Problem with most answers is they’re predicated on the notion of “before”. Time, as we perceive it, likely did not exist.

it doesnt exist at all in the form we imagine. If it didn't exist at all, we wouldn't be here to imagine it at all.
