Meghan McCain, the political scion who turned a stint as a blogger and TV show host into a role as a contributor at Fox News Channel, is leaving the network.
McCain is the oldest daughter of US Sen. John McCain, the Arizona Republican and 2008 presidential candidate, who in July was diagnosed with brain cancer following a procedure to remove a blood clot above his left eye. She was seen on Fox News as one of the co-hosts on Outnumbered, an afternoon program that added a different male guest each day to a rotating group of female contributors.
Meghan has been a valuable part of Outnumbered and the Fox News team, the 21st Century Fox-owned outlet said in a statement. Were sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best.
Im so thankful to Fox News for the chance to be on Outnumbered, but Im leaving to focus on other things, McCain said in a statement. I have no doubt the show will continue to do well and wish all my friends and colleagues at the network nothing but success.

RE:”Guess you dont appreciate the voluptuous type. Could loose a little around the middle, but I would make the sacrifice.”
Definitely not attracted to fat women.
Fat and stupid.
..or caught sexting one of the Murdochs.
I’m wishing the best for her father. That doesn’t mean I need to hear from either of them ever again.
She’ll run for his seat.
Well, bye.
Be gone!
“[ She is conservative]
No shes not. Shes claimed shes liberal on social issues.”
Correct - far from Conservative, sounds like a Valley Girl, doesn’t approach any thoughtful intellectual level, and has sweaty armpits too.
I don’t love her because I have not seen her enough
However, when I have seen her she put forward what I considered a conservative message. She is not radically conservative like Coulter but she was rationally conservative.
Typically many here pat themselves on the back and spout the dogma.
I don’t think she has the chops to succeed her father when he dies in February.
>> to succeed her father when he dies in February.
**************************************************
in February, you say? Would you happen to have an exact date so we can have a celebratory count down?
No but after February 9 is the window
I learned many things from her.....and I always paid attention to what she was saying which is more than I can say for so many of the Fox female panelists whom I tune out with the mute button.
I'm certain Miss Meghan now wants to be with her father as much as possible....and to lend personal support to her mother and siblings from the Arizona family homestead.
I will not say one nasty thing about Meghan in this sad period of her life.... I will not visit the sins of the father upon the child....and I wish her success and happiness in whatever she does in the future.

Noooooooo!!
I haven’t seen her in years. When I did see her, the description wouldn’t be anything like what you posted. Perhaps she has mellowed over time.
For that reason, while I don’t have a beef with her, I certainly WOULD NOT support her to replace her dad.
We need new blood in there. If I remember accurately, he dad entered politics in Washington around around 1982.
Certainly that’s long enough for a family to dominate from Arizona.
I’m with you. I’ve seen her on outnumbered and I thought she did very well, seemingly quite conservative, had good points in the discussion. I’ve been surprised that I like her, for some reason thought I wouldn’t - actually hate to see her go.
Blood normally is the strongest family link. However, her father is a traitor with a big T. He should have been court martialed numerous time by his actions as members of the military. He was covered by his high ranking father/grandfather in the military even before he was shot down in Nam as an inferior pilot. That inferioty he brought along to the Senate, where he should have thrown out EARLY !!!
I’m very afraid that she will use this “opportunity”(???) like was done at Paul Wellston’s “memorial”, hmmm???
Serious question: Did he not left his first wife, and WHY ???
What career was in her future if not for her father?
Answer: There was no career in her future, she would have been a nothing in the real world......
Looks like 2 puppies playing underneath a toe sack.
