Interesting. Lots of proof texting, of course and I didn’t devote the time to checking his context so I’m taking his article at face value. Doesn’t really investigate the idea that all the ETs could also be humans from other Earths.

C.S. Lewis covered this in one of his books on essays and sermons.
There are four possibilities.
1. We are alone. The universe is “Our World” and we can get to any part of it if we travel far enough. Such a state would make our faith more probable rather than less probable.
2. We are the only or one of several fallen planets but less advanced than the others that are unfallen. Advanced sinless beings are commonly referred to as Angels and we have theology for that.
3. We are a fallen planet and there are other beings that are advanced fallen beings that are more advanced than us - Advanced fallen beings are called demons and we have theology to deal with them.
4. There are unfallen and fallen beings that are less advanced than us and given our history dealing with peoples more primitive than us God help them because we will probably look like demons to them.
The author is apparently a Mormon, although he does not say so. He repeats the Mormon teaching that men will become gods of their own planets and will father the future inhabitants of those planets.
Not feeling that religion can answer this?

On the other hand there is the Dark Forest Theory (where a deity plays in it, is unknown). However, in a dark forest the loud animals advertise their presence and become prey for the silent stalkers.
All animals in the forest are in competition for resources, so the fewer there are, the better (more food) for the reminder. So the animals become territorial, excluding other possible competitors usually by killing them.
So in a dark forest the best survival strategy is to remain silent while being ever wary.
As above, so below - and vice versa.
In the host of trillions on trillions of stars known to exist, life must have has arisen many times over the course of 13 plus billions of years, just not all at once. In any given time period, races from different stars or planets within one system compete for resources. Eventually, one will war with another and the victor take the resources. Some victors will become more powerful than others requiring more resources, branch out. Hearing the noisy ones, they go in for the resources, eliminating the noisy ones who would be competition in the future.
It just not our turn yet ...
It’s much more simple than that.
Why could Jesus see spirits and his disciples could not?
It all has to do with the reason why Jesus taught us what He did. By following His guidance, “You too can do the things that He did.” per his own words.
Just as it is not the matters of the flesh, but the matters of the spirit or soul that matter the most, it’s all about the frequency of our consciousness and how it changes when we are “Born Again of the Spirit.” What actually happens is our consciousness which in reality is our soul or spirit grows.
Our consciousness grows to the point that we begin to perceive directly from our consciousness rather than being limited to our five senses.
How does it grow, by raising up in frequency... Thus the concept of “Rapture” as being “Raised Up.”
Every sin creates an obstacle to Love in our souls which acts as an anchor or ballast to lower our consciousness, often so low that it creates illness or merely that our perception of reality is that we see mole hills as mountains.
By worshiping and seeking God, we raise our consciousness. We can raise it to the point that the mole hills, previously viewed as mountains are non existent and now mountains are perceived as mole hills.
OUR PERCEPTION OF REALITY IS A FUNCTION OF THE LEVEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS FROM WHICH WE VIEW IT.
Everything that Jesus taught us was how to get rid of anger, fear, guilt and any other low frequency consciousness and fill our souls with LOVE.
Guess what... Just as the frequencies of a radio or TV create separate channels, so does the frequency of our consciousness.
The ET’s exist, and they are here right now just as Jesus is here right now. His Father has sent the Advocate or Holy Spirit to help us raise up and perceive Him. That’s what life is all about. It’s the reason we are here. So our souls can grow!
Everything I have stated is from my own experiences. So far I have met four individuals that are two souls in one body. This is much different that an attached evil spirit. These were actually equal sharing of the physical body. I’m placing a target on my back by stating this in a public forum, but the weeds Jesus spoke of in Matthew 13 are ET’s, specifically the grays. I’ve seen them in spirit and realize why they are here.
The grays are very intelligent, but have no compassion or emotion as they lack the feminine aspect of their consciousness. They are like half a bean seed in that they can’t grow. They know they can’t make it through “Heaven on Earth” so they are creating this upcoming turmoil in order to create emotional havoc on earth. Why? So they can move in and attach to the emotional humans and serve as their logical aspect, hoping that the two souls have merged as one and can survive in the higher consciousness. It won’t work.
God is in control of everything and even the weeds serve a higher purpose. These weeds fear your LOVE as it is like placing hot coals upon their heads. This is why it is very important to LOVE your enemies. The weeds can’t attach to you while you are radiating LOVE. They will try everything they can to create fear in you and lower your consciousness in order that they can attach. Your perfect LOVE casts out fear.
Many of you have read my comments and criticized me for being able to perceive and communicate with spirits outside the physical body. Jesus did it. And if I follow His teachings and accept Him as my Savior, then He can do it through me.
What is happening right now in that people are moving into their emotional irrational consciousness and losing their logical component is exactly what the grays want to happen. You see it after the election and you see it world wide. I was shown this process back in the early 1990’s in several visions and the related turmoil on earth that accompanies the shift in consciousness.
I know that my words will ring true to many of you and your own soul or spirit will respond in a way that you will be aware of it. That is how the process works. To those who have ears, let them hear. To those who totally disagree with my words, that is fine too. I only ask that you pray for me that I may be guided toward the truth, even if it is different that where I am now.
What is usually ignored in LIBERALS as well: God.
If God has created life on other worlds, so be it. We will never make contact. The distances are simply to great to overcome. If we ever approach travel at the speed of light in space travel, it would still require multiple generations to cover the distance, and that won’t happen for several reasons, supplies being a chief concern.

What if the real answer is that we are the first inhabited planet and that all of the extraterrestrials they are looking for don’t exist yet because we are the ones that will eventually colonize the universe.
One can look at any number of scientific studies on the search for intelligent life and see that a likely reason we don’t get responses to SETI is because of the number of factors required for planets to host life and the vast distances between stars and galaxies.
There was a song in the 90s that sums it up. God wants to “keep ‘em separated” ... probably for good reason.
If God exists, and if God created life, and if God created man, then there can be no scientific basis for an incontrovertible belief that God created life elsewhere in the Universe.
Whether you believe God created Adam and Eve whole and alone to populate the earth, or believe in “Creative Design” by which God eventually created man on earth, it does not logically follow that God HAD TO HAVE created life elsewhere in the Universe.
To belive that life exists elsewhere in the Universe, you either can’t believe in God but believe we are a happy accident of a Godless “big bang”, and there are other happy accidents out there, or you do believe in God but believe he intentially created life on other planets or he lost track of them and they had happy accidents on their own.
At the end of the day, there is no logical, scientific, or theological basis to assume there is life anywhere in the Universe but on the earth. To do so is to indulge in a general casual lazy belief that there just “HAS TO BE OTHER LIFE” out there because 1) the Universe is to big not to or, 2) you believe that infinite possibilities of random chance just HAS TO result in some other life forming somewhere or, 3) you can’t accept our uniqueness.
But if you logically think it through, scientifically, it is just possible that every “inhabitable” body in the Universe just turns out to be too hostile being too hot or too cold or too toxic or too light or too heavy or too windy to support any form of life. And yes, I am well aware that theoretically life could be based on elements other than Carbon, as all life on earth is Carbon based such as Silicon, Tin or Lead.
Can such elements form DNA or could some other life form be comprised such as that DNA is not required? I don’t have the scientific background to know.
I just know that “just because” is not a good reason to believe life exists beyond earth. “But the Universe is so huge”, is another illogical reason for the belief.
I believe God put us on earth. I recognize the possibility God has filled the Universe with other forms of life for his amusement and pleasure but my bible gives me no reason to believe in such an option, and therefore I don’t. Scientifically, not only have we never been visited by ETs to suggest they exist, but every “inhabitable” planet I’ve read about being discovered or discussed, every single one turns out to be completely hostile to Carbon based life and there is no-one making a serious discussion for any EVIDENCE of life based on Silicon, Tin or Lead.
The universe is far smaller than scientists say it is. And the Earth is at the center of it. I am a little skeptical about flat-Earth theories. But, regardless of its shape, my Bible tells me that everything else in the universe revolves around the Earth.
I understand the theological reasoning.
But I like Einstein’s reasoning a little better. We are simply too far away from each other.
The current theory of disk accretion forming suns, planets and solar systems in “billions and billions of galaxies” may well be flawed. Planets with life may be nearly impossible in an Electric Universe that theorizes a plasma based Universe. Wherever you have ionized material (plasmas) you have magnetic fields and magnetic pinches which concentrate matter to a high degree, possibly forming suns and other bodies. Life may be so rare in the Universe that we could well be the only sentient beings in the whole enchilada. This is a far more interesting existential standpoint and puts a lot more responsibility on our shoulders. An infinite Universe to create a being in God’s image sounds like the only sort of game God could enjoy...
